Last week I just hit my one year anniversary of full-time teaching online, after leaving my corporate jobby job. Thanks for this message Anthony - definitely need to heed this re: celebration, b/c it's def something I need to hear & not take lightly.

Thanks Anthony, documenting progress is important on paper or electronically. As a basketball coach and personal trainer i always document my players progress on video. I do the same for myself with guitar. I video things i work on and can go back and see how i improved on the same songs. Thanks for all you do.

Man, you can't imagine how important to me that was. I used to follow your channel but since my music taste and goals changed I didn't pay attention for years. And when I saw your video about motivation (used to admire David Goggins but had the same issue with his mindset - couldn't identify with him) I immediately thought you have a lot of wisdom to share. This video strucked me as well since I've lost track of my 2023 goals and schedule of my recordings. What is more, beeing myself a beginner guitar teacher, you reminded me to celebrate my students wins / accomplishments and teach them to do that on their own. So I guess not only they wn but me too since I need to track my own progress 🙏
