"When I go to the West Side of Austin, I think it's.... really Vanilla... everyone is talking about a lot of the same things... on the East Side there's a great Creative Class that you meet and Everyone is very Interested in what they're passionate about." This is one of the most divisive, bigoted, hateful statements one can make. There are creative, open minded, beautiful people all over Austin. To ignorantly divide a city by a Highway only perpetuates some 1950s mindset of society.So hipster.
No one bothers to report that Maggie and Tamara are a romantic/business partnership. Interesting editorial hipster choice.

have you been to austin? everything east of IH-35 starts to be spelled in spanish. it's racism, but it's institutional racism.
for the record, austin's hipsters are the least pretentious i've ran across. but that's a given because it's austin and everyone there is just so fucking cool. so that being said, if you live in austin you're already a hipster. and that's a good thing.
