  • By 2014 I was in deep depression ... So I gained a lot of weight and started having huge problems with sleep apnea. My health had become horrible.
    I was always in good physical condition before this depression, so I had muscles under my fat.
    In December 2015, my doctor told me that I absolutely had to lose weight and take care of my health because I was at risk of having a heart attack in my sleep. What my doctor told me, shook me.
    From the news of my doctor, I started looking to have a professional trainer who could help me achieve my goals.
    At the beginning, I was aiming to make a transformation of 2 months. I found it so difficult to adapt to a new healthy lifestyle overnight. I had very strict food plan and my training was very difficult. I felt like I was starting from scratch.
    After 1 month of diet and intense training, my coach gave me my results. I had already lost 15 lbs, lost 19 lbs of fat and gained 5 lbs in muscle. I was so motivated by my results that I felt that nothing could stop me.
    I have always been a very motivated and passionate person in everything I do in my life. The train was gone. The start was the most difficult. Now that the train was running at full speed, I did not want to stop it anymore.
    My new goal was to lose fat and gain more muscle in 6 months. Above all, I wanted to be healthy and to feel good about myself.
    This video is my greatest pride to date. I want this video to motivate and inspire you to achieve your goals.
    Remember, you must never give up what you want in life.
    Phil

    As a trainer for many years myself, i just want to throw props out to this guy's PT, who clearly structures some very nice routines, well balanced between traditional lifts and strength endurance work, and enforces solid technique. The results here are the combination of the client's determination and hard work being applied to the right plan.

      nah just a lot of unsafe ,dumb and dangerous moves specially for a big guy like him.That box jump in the begining, do you know how much weight his knees were taking? for 248lbs probally close to 1000lbs every single rep.one fuckup and youre screwed for 3 months at least,say goodbye to any progress , not including the psychological damage .Just need to push yourself hard on compound lifts with proper form and youre good to go

    I remember starting my own transformation about a year ago. I bought a diet plan from Dietarize and started doing some exercises at home. My brother was making fun of me, thinking I will give up. But day after day, meal after meal, I managed to do it. I lost 20lbs thanks to my diet and dedication and I'm feeling a lot happier now. I can finally tie my shoelaces without holding my breath 😀

      Here is the secret. No sugar ever again. No Protein powder just pure protein in foods. You have to eat about 35 grams of pure protein each meal. You must eat around 5 times a day. The meals are not large but all protein like, Non-skin chicken breast, 4 oz = 35 grams of protein. Hard boiled eggs are 6 grams of protein each. Don't eat the yolk, just the white. Salmon fillets are about 35 grams of protein also. Mostly eat eggs every morning, chicken every day, fish every day . You can eat some rice for carbs for energy every meal. No white bread, in fact no bread at all. Starkist solid white albacore tuna is 28 grams of protein in one little can. Eat it plain. You get the picture. Eat like this every day and work out and you will gain 45 lbs of muscle and go from 25 percent body fat down to 8 percent in 6 months. I went from 155lb to 197 in 6 months and was ripped and had the hardest muscle that I ever had just from the diet. Drink lots of water also. If you do this , I guarantee that you will have the best body that you ever dreamed of in 6 months. Imagine if you continue for a year or 2. You won't believe it.

      hey Arion gj on the weight loss. Just remember that keto is a lifestyle/life change so you can't go back to eating all the old stuff again. Just words of advice because I was around 240 lbs starting back in 2004 and I lost a ton of weight and got down to 170ish in a few months. I got hella stretch marks on my stomach because of the rapid weight loss. Anyway I recently gained most of it back starting from 2010 until a few months ago when I started to get back into training. I ate like crap and gained it all back. Now i'm back on the Keto program but at a much slower weight loss. For some reason, maybe it's because I have more muscle or what but it's a lot harder for me to shed the weight this time around. But at least I look better in the mirror and my size 36 pants are starting to fit again, although snug. I am strength lifter so I can bench around 315 or so and squat like 400+ lbs. But I just look builky as hell. Sry for the ramble just my 2 cents. Good luck and train hard. -J

      jz415650 Thanks, man. Yeah I'm losing weight at a medium pace. I go to a planet fitness so I can't do most of the workouts that I'd like to do. I dropped another 6 pounds. But I can do pull ups now lmao. Never could do those before. Awesome you're back into size 36s I just got a pair myself. Legs are tight, but my waist is a little loose. hah. Any recommendations on a workout routine with just free weights? My gym goes up to 60 lbs. I can comfortably do stuff at like 50 lbs now. But I do random shit, I don't feel like I'm making progress.

I've been the gym 6 days a week for 2 hr sessions and 40 days into it I'm down to 225. Would like to get down to 195 as well. I've been doing intermittent fasting on a low carb diet. urstruly83 Gonna be honest. Right now I just try to eat more protien. I eat about 130grams maybe a little more of it a day. And I just cut carbs totally besides my veggies and protien bars/shakes which are minimal. I try to eat atleast 2300 calories a day. It's hard as he'll though. I get full so much faster now that I stopped shoveling food in my face. Most days I'm under 2k. But so far haven't noticed my muscles being shit afterwards. My meals are basically a chicken breast and a cup and a half of broccoli or cauliflower, Chicken salad sandwich without bread, Protien shake and the protien bar I eat is called Detour, choc/peanutbutter purple wrapper. Has mostly sugar alcohol and it's filling. Also, drink a lot of water. haha. Hope that kinda helps. I did lazy keto the majority of the time. I'm basically discovering stuff as I go. I wanted to start vlogging to keep track of my progress. Only have a few pics.

    @RileyTheGamer 4 роки тому +1

    I needed this. Right now I'm 22, married on Feburary and have my first child due any day now. I recently was diagnosed with severe clinical depression and severe anxiety. I never knew I had this, with it being clinical, I thought I would have known sooner. But while in high school I had hobbies to distract me such as sports and weight lifting. My sophomore year I was 6'1, 215 pounds and I was benching around 300 pounds and was very athletic, (i take pride in my vertical, 33"). After that year i didnt lift hardcore but more just staying in shape. After I graduated I found myself in a dark place. I had no distractions. Then I went through traumatic events making it worse: loss of a very close relative, loss of a close friend, attempting to reconnect with my father who abandoned me however he didnt give a shit, losing a job. I deeply contemplated suicide probably 6 times and 3 or 4 "unsuccessful attempts." I was very unhappy. But it got even worse when I looked at a picture of myself. I didnt even recognize who I was. I stepped on the scale for the first time since my senior year, 298. I was devastated. I somehow managed to find motivation, from January 2018 to December 2018 I lost 60 pounds. I did not do much weight training though. I just wanted to lose weight. However, more shit happened. Lost 3 more relatives, lost another job (this time I was actually fired), and a bunch of other stuff. I weighed myself about a week ago and it read 302. I'm VERY devastated. I started eating healthier right before Thanksgiving. I've already went down to 289. However, my grandmother, who always tells me "I'll love you no matter how you look" bought me pizza. I couldnt resist. So I guess I relapsed tonight. But, this video just motivated me. We just planned a beach vacation for July. I hope to be like you man. Thank you for this. Right now, I'm 6'3", 289 pounds. My goal is to be 225 by July (I have a large frame so being 200 or under would be hard). Prayers, thoughts, and encouragement would be much appreciated. Love you all!

    I am 53 dropped from 224 to 158 lbs in 5 months. IF and avoiding shite food except for special occasions and still managed a few beers a week and ice cream here and there with the kids. No calorie counting, lots of nutrient dense foods and only ate what. I was actually hungry. A buddy kept asking what I was eating and he would count calories and was surprised how how few or how many calories over daily recommendations I was.like I said, you can lose weight in caloric deficit, eating donuts, but long term it’s going to rebound with dire health consequences. Good job with the weight loss. You found what worked for you. Look up Dr. Jason Fung The Diet Doctor, he wrote the obesity code and explains it well.

      Starving yourself is a very bad way to go. You should be eating regularly on a balanced diet. You need energy to burn the fat. You should work on loosing around a pound or two a week and no more, so the skins elasticity has time to adapt.

      John m hey look I’m happy for you, but your comment 1 meal per day plus caffeine and multivitamins, isn’t a healthy choice. I understand completely that you reached a point to get rid of it all, but you could’ve done much better if you researched your goal first. You lost 206 pounds in 8mths from your post to end June 2019, if my calculations are right that’s approx 6.4lbs per week... amazing work. At 45 your suffering with excess skin because the elasticity of over 40s fade. If you took your time and had a good decent balanced diet and lost 1-2lbs per week, this may have been prevented. Your happy and that’s all that matters. So we’re happy for you👍

    This guy clearly put in serious consistent motivation but his muscles were always there. People would be surprised how much actual muscle mass you have if you shed the winter coat. Nobody gets jacked like that unless on the sauce. This guy did it legit, hope he has kept it off.

      Most women don't like it so they shave it. It's also uncomfortable to hairy when you're sweaty.

      The real reason is because it gives the appearance of a better looking transformation, having your muscles show through cleanly, also so go as far as setting a different lighting for the big reveal.

      Because when you stop being sloppy, not only do you change your body, BUT everything else.

    Keep going down to 170 or 165 then bulk up to 185 or 190

      Learnzz He'd be shredded as fuck at 180 mate no way he could cut down below that he's probably around

      I understand what u are saying, but one thing many people forget is we actually have two weights one carbed up and one carb depleted about 10 lbs. like I cut to 159 but can carb up to 170 in like 4 days. And return to 159 in like a week

      Learnzz water weight is a helluva thing

    • @learnzz9255
      @learnzz9255 7 років тому

      Yes it's water but water in in glycogen stores in your muscles , so actually your muscle grow , muscles are mostly water.

    • @polarbearnoisethemanwithag5365
      @polarbearnoisethemanwithag5365 7 років тому +4

      Learnzz If he went on a major cut he could go down to 175 at the very minimum and that's being generous. Plus being that shredded is pretty stupid because you just look smaller in a shirt, you only look good with your shirt off; plus 15% bodyfat is lean enough in my opinion I would never go below 12%.

    I know, let's get a bloke who fit and a history of the gym, get him fat and then then within 6 months we're have an Adonis. Would be far better to see a real bloke with crap fitness to start with.

    I did an intense workout like that a few years ago. Third month in, feeling great, losing weight, gaining muscle and threw my back out. Took me four months to recover and lost my motivation. Been hard to get back into it and I have paid the price in gaining weight. Going to try again but slowing it down this time as to not injure myself.
