And still is. Took tottenham to a final. Won Roma the conference league and last season he took roma to the Europa league final where Anthony Taylor fixed the whole match against him
Most people agree he’s top 3-4 coaches of all time. Never met anyone that disagreed with that. His run from 2002-2015 will remain legendary. I don’t see anyone winning a treble with porto and inter ever again. His Chelsea goals against record will never be beaten, and his unbeaten home record will never be beaten
Fabregas has had a beautiful career. I'm Namibian. I was there at the 2010 World Cup final in Johannesburg when he played the killer pass for the match winning goal. I still remember that moment like it was yesterday
My Favourite Player of All Time: ● Fabregas was 17 years old during virtually the entirety of his breakthrough season of 04/05 and made 33 league appearances (24 starts) in a side just off the back of winning the previous seasons league without losing a game, finished 2nd in that current campaign and won the FA Cup. Just let that sink in. Absolutely frightening 😲. ● Only he and Evan Ferguson have 10+ goals/assists to there names as 18 year olds in the Premier League era who weren't from England. Had to get that one in as an Irishman 😄. ● "Statistics show that in the five years prior to Fàbregas's departure from Arsenal, Fàbregas created 466 goal-scoring chances, made 86 assists and scored 48 goals, all three statistics topping those of new teammates Xavi and Andrés Iniesta, despite both having made more appearances in the same period." ● 09/10 League Season: Apps: 27 Goals: 15 Assists: 15 Who knows what numbers he would have finished with that season if he'd avoided a few niggling injuries during the first half of that campaign and not fractured his leg to Barca in March and been ruled out for the remainder of the season. I've no doubt that he would have comfortably broken the record of 20 assists in a PL season and in all likelihood would have 20+ League goals to his name alongside it. All from CM at 22 years of age in his second season as club captain as well it's worth noting. ● All time leader in history of assists for Spanish national team. ● Most assists as a CM in the 21st century ahead of the likes of Lampard, Gerrard, Iniesta & Xavi. ● Only player in PL era to record 10+ assists in 6 separate seasons. ● Made captain of Arsenal at the tender age of 21 as well. He was absolute magic.
It’s a shame he won’t be remembered as highly as he should. At Arsenal he was the best CM in the world for me, but unfortunately no trophies to back it up. At Barca he had the trophies but was another player. At Chelsea he was back to his best level but short lived. One of the greatest midfielders of all time.
also at barca there was this one player that was so big that he basically had thrown his shadow all over europe - and made everyone not be remembered as highly as they should.
Vicente is probably the most underrated manager of all time, he gets so much shit for having the best spain team in history but remember that France, Brazil, England, Italy also had stars but failed to win. Vicente knew what not to do and that seperates him from other managers, he knows that with that talent he just needs to let it flourish and not overdo things, remember that the Spain team that year had players who are fierce fierce rivals at club footballs and some were arguably ego maniacs. That being said, credit to Spains FA for picking Vicente as well.
What a great interview. Cesc is a world class talent on the pitch, but due to his quiet nature, I've never had the opportunity to hear him showcase his intelligence. I hope he gets the opportunity to coach his own team. Having experienced playing under the greatest coaches of his generation, he deserves the chance to blend his learnings into his own style and to pass it on to the next generation of players.
I love Fabregas. I grew up watching him for Arsenal and he was an inspiration. I was sad but proud to see him go to Barca. Seeing him come back to Chelsea was like seeing your beloved Ex with your worst enemy at school.. but even then I still rooted for him. But the one thing I'll never get behind is that absolutely monstrous neck beard
I hope Cesc can match the progress that Xabi did in the teams he managed recently... both of them can be two new young manager that makes football more interesting in years to come! 🙌
Cesc, you are as fortunate as Xabi of having played under great coaches. Xabi can show that he could mix tactical stuffs, leadership style to create his own football phylosophy, and so can you. A great coach will find himself lonely at the end, it is a consequence of being successful. Yet, it is great to be lonely but successful. Good luck.
Thank you so much for this. Cesc Fabregas is magic, he's got the magic hat 💙💙 Probably the one player who will make a great manager along with Xabi. When you see Fabregas talk, express his thoughts and feelings, you just know he's an incredibly intelligent man with brilliant knowledge of the game (plus the intuition which is really really under-appreciated)
Hopefully he can have the opportunities in managerial jobs to grow and develop into a top manager like he’s had as a player. I’m a gooner and he’s always gonna be my Captain Cesc.
Cesc (Chelsea) Xavi (Barcelona) Xabi (Real Madrid) Mikel (Arsenal) All if them managers about to play semi-finals of UCL would be amazing to see one day.
Next arsenal coach after arteta. Hell, if arteta failed still failed to win the league in 3 years then fabregas need to come to arsenal cause he got unfinished business with us.
Pretty sure Wilshire is ahead of him in pipeline but he's definitely returning to Arsenal, he spent the last few summers of his playing career at their academy
I think people need more respect for mourinho. People forget how good he was
Ye those years being under the wing of Bobby Robson
Who tf forgot how good Mourinho was?!

I hated him till I realized that this hate came from how good he was

playing under Wenger, Pep, Mourinho and Conteh is insane.

What a player he was miss that generation of Arsenal r.i.p Reyes 🙏🏼
👋🏾👋🏾👍🏾
Fabregas is magic.
in my opinion one of the most underrated players ever
This guy had a monster of a career
Midfielders mostly make the best coaches. Obviously because during their play time they do a lot of processing between defense and attacks.
True. And also I think it is because their position allows them to expect less from people. It makes them calm and patient
Thanks Cesc 4 share a lot of good things you are a real legend in Arsenal and Chelsea few players can say that🎉

Cesc is first class! Super exited to watch his coaching career take off.
He is doing great at Como
I could listen to him for hours.
Brillant player, brillant man.

He's coaching now, still strongly connected to Arsenal particularly Jack Wilshire, I have no doubt he'll end up back there
living legend. I am surprised you are in Como. great mind.
Cesc, you were a great, great midfield
He is playmaker, false nine, and deep playmaker 👏👏
I love Fabregas. I grew up watching him for Arsenal and he was an inspiration. I was sad but proud to see him go to Barca. Seeing him come back to Chelsea was like seeing your beloved Ex with your worst enemy at school.. but even then I still rooted for him.

He has won everything that is there in football he's a genius and he will be Chelsea coach one-day
I hope Cesc can match the progress that Xabi did in the teams he managed recently... both of them can be two new young manager that makes football more interesting in years to come! 🙌

Brilliant player and fantastic coach. Good luck Cesc - looking forward to see Como in Seria A -> Champions League. I believe you can do it for sure.
Fabregas as wonderkid in arsenal is fantastic midfielder ,never forget when he face patrick vieira in ucl vs Juventus
Cesc has a good critical mind. It would be great to see him as a manager
He's an assistant manager in Italy
This is fantastic content. Appreciate this account so much.
Hopefully Cesc follows the path of Xabi Alonso
And Xavi Hernandez
Hopefully he can have the opportunities in managerial jobs to grow and develop into a top manager like he’s had as a player. I’m a gooner and he’s always gonna be my Captain Cesc.
Cesc (Chelsea)
Xavi (Barcelona)
Xabi (Real Madrid)
Mikel (Arsenal)
All if them managers about to play semi-finals of UCL would be amazing to see one day.
Arsene, Pep, Jose, Conte, Aragones, Del Bosque!
Nice
Sounds like the best gaffer
MOURINHO THE GOAT
Proper baller
Hope to see you at Barca.
Next top coaches in football who were players will he cesc and busquests I reckon...
Wonder why he doesn’t mention Sarri, i’m pretty sure his football style made a impact on him too
Saw Cesc take a penalty against Barca with a broken leg and scored at the Emirates.
Any gooner who disrespects him is STUPID
Looks like he enjoyed himself most under wenger
Next Chelsea or Arsenal coach after their current managers. Mark my words
Why do I always have a problem with men refusing to shave their front neck… it just doesn’t feel right..
Next arsenal coach after arteta. Hell, if arteta failed still failed to win the league in 3 years then fabregas need to come to arsenal cause he got unfinished business with us.

1st
10% Wenger. 5% Mourinho. 85% Guardiola.
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name.
9% Wenger, 4% Mourinho, 84% Guardiola, 3% Neck Beard.
Rubbish, he was at Barcelona with Guardiola for only 1 season. He's always said he doesn't like the robot style of football
