  • Bubunne (or Bubunia) is a matriarchal totalitarian country led by the ruthless La Générale (Generaless). In Bubun, the roles of men and women are reversed, up to the point where the male population is deprived of any civil rights, including work, education, military service, freedom of marriage etc.

@Mcheetah The way I see it, Jacky behaved the same way when he was a woman or a man. The generaless was more so specifically attracted to Jacky in general. It probably didn't really matter what gender he was. However, I do have another theory. The generaless was actually gay her whole life, she was taught/told to essentially BE a woman, therefore act gay. The thing is, it's established that Jacky is an extremely attractive guy. Which is the reason why generaless was so attracted to him, instead of any other woman at the party. He still has his "male features", which is probably what she saw in him.

      Western ideology bs again.
You guys ignore the fact that other ethnicities have their own view of world too and what you consider to be right, is not right for everyone.
That’s why we have the separate governments across the globe.
To prove your righteousness you must brainwash people, which brings the fact that there’s no such thing as right or wrong, you can do literally whatever you want. Unless if you have a religion or simply brainwashed. The only thing that is clear for us as beings in general is that our DNA 🧬 wants to survive for some reason and there are no rules for it and in fact we’re long out of this (which considered to be) “accidental system”. And here we’re, bunch of idiotic people who think they’re smarter than others.

Felt uncomfortable watching this as a male, especially the part where the girls were continually hitting on the main male character. Cringe, cringe, cringe 😬. Yet we do this all the time to girls and don't care about how they feel maybe uncomfortable, annoyed etc. The message of this movie came across quite well. Reverse the gender roles and you see everything quite clearly. The golden rule is the message in this movie, only do unto others as you'll have them do unto you

There is anovel called "Egalia's daughters" by Gert Brantenberg. It even turns around speech. Most male readers don't understand and feel offended by assuming the author wanted to establish such a society, which wasn't the aim. That novel was an eyeopener, because it dealt with quite normal things, not mixed with fairy tales. After having read it you see ... with eyes wide open

But no, it just swapped the bodies (not the mindsets, attitudes, perspectives, etc., just the bodies) of the people in power and called it a day. It's the basic type of gender reversal you could possibly do, and fails to provide anything thought-provoking as a result. A more realistic take on a matriarchal society would've been far better. But no, they were only interested in a toilet humor level take against a certain group of people.

3 things I wanna say about this video...
    1. It really puts things into perspective when you see the actual absurdity of gender discrimination THIS bad. Worst part is in some parts of the world it is this bad, but in the roles we're familiar with.
    2. As a world-building nut who was making an alien race were the roles are similar to the country presented in the film... it was quite insightful.
    3. I completely lost it when he said "They must pay 40-million bubes"
I couldn't stop laughing about it. Still am XD

High ranking political officials will have opinions that age of concent should be lowered to 13-14 because "a female body is ready to have kids then"

@@TabooTalz it’s just not true though, in a lot of ways women have it much easier. For example women are given an average of 60% shorter sentences than a man who has done exactly the same thing, and that’s when she’s even convicted for it. I know so many women who have just gotten away with crimes Scot-free (usually violent crimes). They are given a higher chance in education. For example my sister and all her female peers went to an exclusively girls outing where only the girls were allowed to learn about engineering. How is that fair? The boys didn’t get anything like this and none of the girls even enjoyed it. Their views were just ignored because “they are too influenced by the patriarchy”. Another thing is that there is a stereotype that men beat their children more (in the movies, news, etc.) but it’s actually far more likely that women do, it’s just it doesn’t fit with the left narrative. Men are also more likely to be violently attacked. I know you will say “by other men”, but does that matter? Focus on the victim instead of blaming the victim. Domestic violence is also a lot less out-balanced than feminists will have you believe, the statistics are more 40-60 (men - women). There are so many more advantages too. Here’s more:
      Women’s car insurance costs less,
Women can get into nightclubs at younger ages (men have to be 21 and women have to be 18)
It’s easy for a woman to destroy a man’s life with literally 3 words
Women and girls typically have an easier time in education, as boys are almost immediately thrown out of education after a small slip up.
I genuinely do not understand how people like you can ignore all of this and say women have to live in a society like the one portrayed in this movie. The vast majority of countries let women work, drive, socialise, and have the same (sometimes even more) rights as men.
