An excellent short film. I didn't figure it out until well into the shower scene. Very well set up and paced. You combined Romero and Hitchcock in a way I never would have thought of, but makes perfect sense after the fact. I was entertained and intrigued by your skill and effort and that of your crew and actors. My gratitude.
When it's the zombie apocalypse, and the first survivor you run into is Norman Bates. Great film btw, I loved the atmosphere, especially in the dead refuge camp, and that Psycho reference was perfect. As a future scenario writer, this is the kind of quality I want to be able to get!
I thought, "This is good" And then I thought "This is REALLY good." And then I was like "DAMN THIS IS AMAZING!" WELL DONE. Under half an hour long and the best zombie movie I've seen in YEARS.
Well, this is one of the best zombie films I’ve ever seen in years. This film in my opinion has a man playing with a girl’s emotions during a full-on zombie apocalypse! How extraordinary! Great job, jessing. 👍
The beginning was astonishly atmospheric and eerie. The dead were convincing and I can see the main male playing a great bad guy or two further in his career, great job!

Great filming!!! The music score is perfect and the graphics are worth every bit!!! Even almost 8 years later... It's still one of my favorite go to short films!!!!

Good job jussing. I haven't seen a good zombie story in a while. An even better twist is she did not trust him and she pushes him into the room. He gets eaten by his own mother. She pulls another picture out of her pocket of a other loved one. Her adventure continues.

This film was a stroke of genius with the same quality as the Ford Brothers in "The Dead" and Romero in the Dead series. I hope that you can do more films in the future.

That said, I've been producing composing music for about 20 years now and have been scoring small indie games and advertisement stuff for about 14 of those years and would love to work with you if you still make films and need someone. Most of what I've done on the score side are things for people who don't get much attention, but I did some scores for promotional material for Todd McFarlane, which was pretty cool. Let me know if you have room for me and I can send you some examples. Anyway, congratulation on the success of this film. Regardless of who saw it, or how known it is, you hit it out of the park. Mix 90% Romero with 10% Hitchcock Touch (the end ) and you create the best Zombie short movie ever! 👏👏👏👏👏 The main actors are very talentated! Simone is a beautiful woman. Why does nobody mention the moving scene at 13:00? Her undead boyfriend clearly recognizes her and begs for redemption.

Thanks for watching! It's always difficult to set up a twist, as you don't want it to be too obvious, and don't want it to come out of no-where. You know, a lot of people are in the opposite of you, not even connecting the dots after the fact. I think we hit the majority of our target audience where we want to, I guess you're just too smart. ;)

It was so short, but so good. I kinda was wondering why did he seems like such a freak, freely riding a bike in the middle of the apocalypse, talking with zombies and memorizing missing people fliers, but I ignored all when he saved her almost as his own expense. But my first instinct was right, he is a freak and a mamma's boy.
this movie was so professionally made. the make up was so awesome, the vacant streets. the only thing i thought was stupid was her calling out Michael knowing theres like over a 1,000 zombies and she has but 1 arrow. der! did not expect that ending... just brilliant. well done all those involved

We only made one and that nearly bankrupt me. And then my son, whom I started and invested this left...so my studio is exact;y as it was. 30k worth of macs, software, cameras, tripods steady-cam well u know. Anyway kudos to you and all film makers out there. Keep doing what you love. You may never be rich but you will be rich in what you do...yes I’m an old man my life over but I wish I had it to do over. I’d have loved to make movies. Hi Mike, thanks for asking. We shot on RED, but I personally think it looks a lot more cinematic than RED. We were lucky with the mostly overcast weather, so there's not a lot of different between light and shadow, so the low dynamic range of RED doesn't show, and we were able to grade it to look like film. I'd definitely shoot on Alexa today if I had a choice. Thanks for watching!
This was such a great film. Kicking myself though for not having ad blocker. Nothing like ruining the tense apocalyptic atmosphere with a freaking loud, in-your-face adore me ad. Ugh
This was an awesome movie, but its starting to get repetitive. I 've been watching post-apocalyptic short stories and its always where they talk about a loved one to someone and surprise the loved one is there eating your face off. I love watching the buildup but when you know the ending is gonna be the same it just starts to get boring.
The moment I spotted the archer without a quiver, I just knew it was all uphill from there. But the set designer did a great job! The camera work is top notch. The lead actors may look the part ,but they are unable to make the most of it because the script is a rather contrived one.
Good camera angle and decent job I would like to give you some constructive criticism. Lighting could be better. It's good for free lighting really is the only complaint.
Wow 🤩 that was just the greatest Zombie movie for a long time, you just got me that good, I was hooked from the start, when she went in to the stadium and started calling out, I just sad there and yelled “shut up “ like she could hear me 😆 or turn around, turn around, or the Zombie is going to get you. It was so short, but so good. I kinda was wondering why did he seems like such a freak, freely riding a bike in the middle of the apocalypse, talking with zombies and memorizing missing people fliers, but I ignored all when he saved her almost as his own expense. But my first instinct was right, he is a freak and a mamma's boy.

this movie was so professionally made. the make up was so awesome, the vacant streets. the only thing i thought was stupid was her calling out Michael knowing theres like over a 1,000 zombies and she has but 1 arrow. der! did not expect that ending... just brilliant. well done all those involved

I live the music score.yes I live the music but what I was trying to say is I Love the music! I also am fascinated by ur back ground shots...that’s has to be a matte...a lot of work went into this. I wish lay-ppl knew how hard it was and expensive it is to make. Film. I had a little family start-up film company and we did better making local commercials than we did films. We only made one and that nearly bankrupt me. And then my son, whom I started and invested this left...so my studio is exact;y as it was. 30k worth of macs, software, cameras, tripods steady-cam well u know. Anyway kudos to you and all film makers out there. Keep doing what you love. You may never be rich but you will be rich in what you do...yes I’m an old man my life over but I wish I had it to do over. I’d have loved to make movies. I still write...4 novels, 6short stories and 4 scripts to date...so if u ever need horror film 💡 ideas...let me know...if I’m not still around let my son know. “Break-a-leg!”
Hi Mike, thanks for asking. We shot on RED, but I personally think it looks a lot more cinematic than RED. We were lucky with the mostly overcast weather, so there's not a lot of different between light and shadow, so the low dynamic range of RED doesn't show, and we were able to grade it to look like film. I'd definitely shoot on Alexa today if I had a choice. Thanks for watching!

This was an awesome movie, but its starting to get repetitive. I 've been watching post-apocalyptic short stories and its always where they talk about a loved one to someone and surprise the loved one is there eating your face off. I love watching the buildup but when you know the ending is gonna be the same it just starts to get boring.

The moment I spotted the archer without a quiver, I just knew it was all uphill from there. But the set designer did a great job! The camera work is top notch. The lead actors may look the part ,but they are unable to make the most of it because the script is a rather contrived one.

Good camera angle and decent job I would like to give you some constructive criticism. Lighting could be better. It's good for free lighting really is the only complaint.

Wow 🤩 that was just the greatest Zombie movie for a long time, you just got me that good, I was hooked from the start, when she went in to the stadium and started calling out, I just sad there and yelled “shut up “ like she could hear me 😆 or turn around, turn around, or the Zombie is going to get you.
But the ending I haven’t seen coming, but it was made just so scary and wonderful great
There was just one mistake, the movie didn’t last for 90 or 95 minutes

Good entertainment value here,but in these movies there are bad ideas and terrible ones,hollering out someones name in a stadium packed with zombies is part of the latter one,still very good short,the chick by the way would have made a great match for Daryl of TWD.
