Those dayz... when u HAD to get down to the record shop and then you got your hands on a beast of a tune like this. A feeling that can't be beaten imo. 90's DnB will never be surpassed, period.
Those days are sorely missed for me. Used to have to drive 2 hrs to the nearest record shop but I'd spent hrs and hrs there listening to fresh amazing new tunes from artists that I looked up to. The only thing that sucked was having to wait 2 hrs after I bought them to be able to listen to them again. I totally agree about 90's DnB. The technology today is great but for me nothing can compare to DnB from about 96 to 02. Those were the golden years for me.
Excellent comment mate! Unfortunately the vibe is all gone.. But UA-cam keeps these classics close to our minds n hearts!!! I still got this one on vinyl Excellent upload!!! Big up for the upload bro!
@@TakeMeBackPirateRadioThere aren't many presses with this quality of A & B sides two stone cold classics, Off the top of my head I would have to say Quest and Night Flight are of kin peace out 🙏
DUTTY TUNE. TOP 5 DNB TRACKS OF ALL TIME IMO CHECK EM OUT BAD COMPANY - THE NINE ED RUSH, OPTICAL + FIERCE - LOKUSTE (this mix) NASTY HABITS - SHADOWBOXING CRYSTAL CLEAR - SUPERFUNK MARCUS INTAL:EX TEMPERANCE
There’s 3 mixes of the same tune! Locust the popular one before this (Cutslo is an anagram of locust) Plus the original, Proton which hits deeper with more bass filter sweeps. Playing all 3 together is mayhem! This Cutslo version has updated beats, remixed with Optical.
Still loving this. But after so many years... maybe the original Locust is still the better one? 🤫 with those jungle amen drums? Off course the build up and drop is better in this one. But overall energy I’d prefer the original. Or just mix them both. Rmx first then original. Bom... btw this one blends well with up all night Jonh B

Tunes like this should be in Terminator Movie's, get folk bouncing at the Cinema 🤣
yyyooooowwwwwwwwww
ACE to say the very least
Booyacall 👊🤤🖕🔥
It's sad to say that mate. But I agree. Unfortunately we didn't realise how crap music would go. Especially once pop drum n bass arrived... 🤔
1980orangeman just hearing the term "pop drum and bass" gives me aids
NFMHACKERS - Exactly! That's why we must fly the flag high & keep great tunes such as this alive 👍
You mean dubstep dont you ?
@nikama75 lol yep you're right :)
3:30
intro has the same pattern as the track proton

That because JB sampled this tune for the break peace out 🙏
They all come from Proton the original heavy bass filtered sweep tune by Ed rush
I like both but this one better tbh

Dirt magurt
Waaaaaaay too fast! Must the pitch control up at least 5%!! Still a banger though!
Sounds alright to me. But hey, it’s all subjective.
Yeah this is the speed we played it at at raves homie
