So I got my new shells in their winchester 2 3/4, and some gun oil seems to be performing better this weekend. I'm going to the range, so I will definitely keep you informed. Thanks for the check-up....
Well I'm sure you can appreciate spending money on something and it not working out of the box... let alone, sending back to the factory, twice, and it still not work properly... hope I can show you the difference in a working firearm and one that you would only purchase if you wanted to learn how to clear malfunctions.
I bought one thinking it was a bargain and I was wrong I raked it back and two shells fell out cause it was trying to feed 2 like he said I advise everyone who reads these messages to get mossberg or Remington this gun sucks
Sorry you got burned! But it's definitely good practice for... was gonna say: if your Mossberg or Remington ever does this... but those actually work right! My suggestion for anybody that has a Honcho, is to send it in to the factory as many times as it takes for them to get their shit right! Who else is tired of paying for crap?
Bro , I have it too and it sucks , definitely NOT reliable in any way , mine jams every other shell and you have to hit the buttstock against something to release the shell which is not safe , plus all the problems you had in the video too , By the way great video keep it up bro ,I understand the frustration of deception of owning that SG
Damn this is disappointing.. I have had my heart set on a Charles Daly Honcho since I set eyes on it... I guess I better get a couple more opinions and review videos under my belt. Question though if you've owned it for 4 months why are you only just getting it in your possession for a few days? Was it on back order after having purchased it?
The day I bought it, I was planning on doing some target practice but I couldn't get a she'll to load without the rear of the shell being halfway ejected with the extractor landing on the primer as I was trying to close the action. After avoiding the first shell exploding out of battery and halfway out of the frame. I tried a few more times to cycle shells through but it decided to release multiple shells inside the action, locking it up completely with a live shell in the chamber. I had to disassemble the entire thing to make safe... I called the factory and sent it in the next day. About 2 months later it came back. There was zero change in the safety issues, only now it was not releasing a shell until you closed the action, thus dropping a shell out the bottom. So I called again... sent it back, again. Around another 2 months later, it shows back up and I literally walked it down to my range and you saw the rest. If you're still reading, I really commend you for sticking it out despite my rambling. Thank you
You have to load the gun exactly as the instructions say. To open the chamber you must push up on the "action bar lock, load I shell into the chamber and push the forearm forward. Then load your shells into the magazine. Then shoot, eject, repeat etc If you don't follow those instructions you wind up with the problems shown in this video. Again, read the loading instructions VERY carefully.
Maybe you didn't actually watch the video... you'd see that the action was stuck. There's a serious flaw with that firearm. Waste your money if you want but if stay away from it... high likelihood of firing completely out of battery when trying to load the next shell... as the lifter raises the shell, it also kicks the primer side out so that the bolt closes on the crooked shell with the ejector trying to land directly on and set off the primer with the entire shell out of the chamber. You can choose to be a condescending prickbot... or you can believe your eyes. I'm not beating that POS on the table for nothing! Sent back to the factory 3 times and still a piece of junk
Yeah I'm going to try different shells I appreciate the reply
Let me know what the outcome is! I'm gathering info on them. Hopefully we can all get our money back!

Nothing would work correctly in this negative guy’s hands. What a joke.

Mine did the exact same things and I had to take it apart and rework it and modified a few parts to make them work .
Keep me updated, if you care to. I'm always interested in others experiences with the same models.
Thanks for the comments, folks! Just started this channel out of disappointment but I've got a lot more, hopefully, good material for y'all!
What if you just load 5?
I could load one and it wouldn't make a difference.

Sorry to hear that, man. Have you sent yours in for repair? Thanks for positive words!

Do you have an instructional video I can watch?
