As an Arab watching this, I gotta say it got me out of my comfort zone a bit. But it is nice to see people make different versions of your food :)

As an Arab watching this, I just can't understand how people can even call this "falafel" or "hummus"... This video frustrated me.

Gracia STEPHAN why is it that people get so offended when other people embrace your cultural foods and twist it to make something different? Everyone is just to proud for their own good it's sad. Who cares if you are Arab, have your family make you traditional Arab food if you are so offended. Everyone gets mad when people are closed minded about culture but then when someone tried to embrace it they get called out for trying to be something they are not. It's a lose lose with everyone.

Well "hummus" means "chickpeas". So hummus without chickpeas is not really hummus ;)
    But it still looks great.

    • @SnafuDMZ

if vegans can refer to their dishes as "chicken" or "pork" then hummus without chickpeas probably can be called hummus

Good ideas. But I think there's a problem with Naming, the word Hummus comes from the name of Chickpea in Arabic, it's called "Hummus Habb," which literally means pieces of hummus or hummus seeds. So, saying Pea & Feta Hummus totally means that it contains Hummus "spiced chickpea paste" with it.. :)
    Thanks for the recipe.
