    A truck driver that still makes trucking related content? A truck driver that still makes content, that doesn't just talk business, numbers, and topics from an eraser board?
    Amaaaaaaazing

      I've never been one to follow trends. I will do informational videos but that's not all of what I do. I am still finding my groove with the new style of videos Im doing. I need to keep trying new things, and I need to work out the audio issues. But stick with me man! I'll get there! I appreciate your support and your feedback. I'm sure you would enjoy Riding with Dave here on You Tube. He makes trucking videos. Thank you again man!

    I hear you on being in a funk and being burned out. I run spring water in a tanker, and I do the same local route and customer every day, two to three loads per day. I try to stay positive, but the frustration has leaked out into my videos from time to time. It's gotten so bad that it's even hard to DO any new video simply because I have nothing new to show or talk about.

      I definitely don't like repetitive work which is why I was never a fan of local trucking. I would probably go nuts doing that. Maybe I need to figure out a better way to maybe balance things out more. Right now though, it's hard to get balance because with rates down and fuel sky high you gotta keep moving. That combined with all the jerks you constantly deal with out here and the regular bs of trucking that never goes away just makes it hard to have a positive outlook. I appreciate ya checking in though man! It's been a long time!

    I bought one of those Roland cube battery operated amps, and threw it in the sleeper for when I get tired of the trucking BS. Sometimes it helps me to jam a little bit at night.

      I've thought about that. I just don't have any low value guitars I could keep with me in the truck. The way things are right now, I don't really wanna go spend the money on one. But that is a good idea!

    Hang in there! I haven't totally sunk into a funk but I've been close and it usually happens when I'm moving in circles, sort of, lol. For example, if I go out west for a while and then come back east I'm good but, if I'm only moving around the Midwest I can get close to a full-blown funk situation. Someone mentioned taking a month or two off and I agree. Scheduled time off can do a world of good. Good luck!

      I appreciate it. I'll be alright. I can't really afford to take a huge amount of time off, but I'll survive. I always do...somehow LOL. Thanks for watching!

      @@sberger6604 keep in mind, you generally don't get to hang out with the band(s) and/or see the shows. When they're playing, you're sleeping. When they're partying, you're loading/unloading. I've never done it, but from what I've been told, it's not as glamorous as most of us think it is.

    • @sberger6604
      @sberger6604  2 роки тому +1

      @@Trucker316 It wouldn't even be about hanging out with the bands. It would just be cool being apart of the show. But it's not just concert tours when you do that gig. Could be other types of shows also. I couldn't do that simply because if it's a 3 month tour, I can't be out that long with a family at home.

    • @Trucker316

      @@sberger6604 yup, I couldn't either. I was only ever good for about 21 days out, then I need to be home for a few days to be with family and friends, and just relax.

    Only 30 more years to go till possible retirement. the way the economy is looking maybe not. Gonna have to make the best of it. Or totally switch careers and start all over again.

    • @sberger6604
      @sberger6604  2 роки тому +1

      I'm to old to switch careers...plus I still have a truck to pay for. I could sell it I suppose. I think one big issue is just trying to find a way to deal with all the idiocy you encounter out here. If I can manage that better, I think things would go a little smoother maybe, but who knows. I appreciate ya checking out the video!
