As a non Korean I knew of Baek Jiyeon, but I had never known about this. I now have even more respect for her now. There were hints of something of this here and there and on shows she was on. She and others may have made slight references about her past. But Jiyeon is so funny I thought they were just making things up. No wonder she is as strong a personality as she is now.
