Britts must be so proud to see most of their system & identity is being adopted by the Malaysian..
Always proud to be a Brit mate
we even have the same education system. and english lessons almost every day at schools.
And sad part is majority of them know Thailand more than malaysia..
When the british left malaysia, they also left a good system of government with a working civil service, judiciary and legislature.. the brits were good administrators. Thts why malaysia are more organised than some😁
Msia just continued with the system that already in place😊
Nice!
@@kamrulz659 also the culture i was born in 80, u cant see skinhead punk mod scooter vespa in hole city even small town in nalaysia
Stop sucking on the white men’s nuts
No sky spaghetti, few noisy motorbikes, no chaos . Looks good with big city feel, reminds me of Singapore and Dubai, organised and clean . Have fun , enjoy..
Nice! Yes it’s a nice city. I have seen some more run down parts but it’s a really clean city all in all.
Malaysia looks like any major Australian city. The city looks like Adelaide architecture, my hometown 😉🇦🇺😀🤷♂️ looks like a great place to visit. The Chinatown entrance looks exactly like our here in Adelaide
Yes mate, it’s very western but with that Asian twist.
Thank you for sharing your KL Malaysia video experience. Very clean and better than average modern SE Asia city. Better choice than the Philippines or Vietnam!
Thank you! I would sy Malaysia is my second favourite after Thailand too.
That's the Merdeka 118 building which is also currently the 2nd tallest building in the world. You should make a day trip to Genting Highlands from Kuala Lumpur. It'll blow your mind!😊
I heard it was the tallest once. 2nd is still amazing though.
Next time I go to Asia, I'm going to check out KL and go back to Singapore. Those are the 2 I missed in 2022. Looks great!
It's a place I've always wanted to come. I've enjoyed it so far.
This brings back memories! I stayed in a cheap hostel in China Town when I went to Kuala Lumpur for a border run back to Thailand, must be around fifteen years ago! The vendors are quite pushy as I remember.
Yes mate, very pushy vendors. One guy got really angry
As a local....i really can say, china town is not the best place for shopping.. expensive fake items and pushy too..
Height of activity in this one. Nice tour around the place. Cheers Wayne 🤩
Thanks mate 👍👍
KL's quite a chill city in the evening. Where the CBD (Central Business District) is, sure, there's more feet to a sqft. BUT .... people aren't grumpy nor in angst. Visitors are safe to prowl instead of being prowled and growled at.
Yes! Different vibe here. The grumpy farangs are not here also. It's such a relaxed vibe.
Those guys who are idling around are usually the foreign workers, chilling out, waiting for their mates, etc
Bangladeshis
Nice! Yes they do look like that. Thanks
Hey Wayne. Good look at KL tourist center. I’ll be in Malaysia starting July to look at a condo, and for scuba diving. You just doing KL this time?
Cheers buddy 👌. I’m not sure of my plans yet.
Loved it Wayne m8t, keep them coming 👍
Thanks mate 👍
Hope that you have had a good time with your explorations in KL.
Thank you, it’s been great so far.
@@WalkAboutWayne 😁
If you're here during the EPL season, you'll get to experience how Malaysian fans celebrate and watch EPL at the Mamak restaurants or at the bar. EPL is kinda big in Malaysia, you'll be suprise.
Yes, Malaysians love English football, the same as Thailand.
I hope you find the rich history in Georgetown, Penang.
You never know mate, maybe one day.
A Bobbydazzler, eh?😄 Nice one, Wayne👍🏻
A right Bobby D mate 👍
You’ve got the tower in the park to go up too, well worth the effort. Brings back memories, I like most things there, especially the food and beer:-) enjoy
The food is incredible 👍
Awesome Wayne.....please do more food vlogs
Thank you. So much food, it always makes me hungry.
i hope you go to the Genting Highland sir🥰
Thanks.
Thanks for taking us along, Wayne. You really capture a place very well. KL is a diverse and interesting place to visit, but I would definitely prefer Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, or Siem Reap as a home base.
Thank you mate. Yes, it would be hard to beat Thailand.
Are you going to George Town in Penang? That place looks unbelievable!
I want to visit. Wonder if there is a less humidity season. Anyway, another vlog like.KL, but said some parts were dirty and trashy we with rats. But, i never saw that mentioned in other vlogs.
The trash only temporary bcos those trash waiting to be collected by city council in a schedule time.
I'm sure it does get less humid later in the year, but the rainy season would be humid also. I have seen some dirty parts of the city, but it's been great for the most part.
Don't forget to to visit Saloma Bridge( near KLCC and Kampung Baru, one of the remaining village in the city centre), Pavilions at Bukit Bintang (you can take the bridge from KLCC ) and The River of Life (near Masjid Jamek) at night.
Cool places 👌
Hope that you have an enjoyable time in KL mate.
Thank you so much .
Don't forget to visit the National Museum of Malaysia.
Thanks.
"I aint heard a crow for time, mate.." Classic
hahaha, them Crows make my day.
Little tip for you. Cash machines in banks don't charge you to withdraw cash. It says you might be charged fees but that's only if your UK bank charges international fees, there's no charges from Malaysian banks. Whenever I'm in Malaysia I take out cash and then change it up to baht back in Thailand to avoid their charges.
Loved China Town Market. It's humid as though innit? 🥵
I don't use ATMs buddy. Yes, Malaysian ATMs are free though.. It sure is Humid mate.
Like the shop sign “Malaysia Titbits and dry fruits “
🤣🤣🤣
19k subs, BOOM!
Cheers Jeff buddy.
If u do vlogs abt Msia of course your subs will increase dramitically😊
Is Malaysia cheaper to live and buy your daily need then Thailand. Or is Thailand cheaper.
From what I’ve seen, Thailand is cheaper .
@@WalkAboutWayneu hv to stay a bit longer to feel the real expenses in Msia. Its really cheap compared to Thailand.
ah that Malay HUMIDITY =) it was bad a god few years ago, up in Penang, when it was bloody hot & massive storms urrrgh. You gonna head out to the GIANT SHIVA & THE MOUNTAIN CAVE TEMPLE? worth the trip. Take Care =D
It’s defo humid mate. Soaked every day. Not sure mate, I got other plans for now. But I’ll be at Batu Caves soon.
You walked pass the former Rex Cinema which has been turned into an arty place, its called ‘RexKL’ now.
Nice 👍
I ENJOYED MY VISIT TO K.L. VERY BIG MUSLIM POPULATION BUT THEY ARE SOME OF THE NICEST PEOPLE YOU COULD EVER WISH TO MEET
Msian indeed the most nicest people on earth😊
Yes, everyones been really nice. Very friendly people.
Looks just like London to me
Very similar streets.
Fly About Wayne... Go Wayne Go
🤣🤣 might change my name
I USED TO PARK UP NEAR PLYMOUTH WAYNE IN MY TRUCK FOR THE NIGHT AT LEE MILL IF YOU KNOW IT
Nice one mate, yes I know it well.
That was very interesting Wayne. How do the costs compare to Thailand?
More expensive. Thailand still hard to beat.
@@WalkAboutWayne Not really, Abt usd1k u can live handsomely in Msia😊
Not gonna lie mate i go to Thailand and Philippines for ladies too. However this time i want to experience Malaysia.
UK had landing cards too till recently. I had to fill it in on the plane.
Me to mate, I’ll admit the ladies are a big factor for me too. I can’t lie. 👍
@@WalkAboutWayne for dating i reccommend the Philippines.
U shud, in 2023 Msia has beaten Thailand as no 1 destination in South East Asia😊
1:09 wth was that guy on? 😂😂
🤣 Some characters about .
Malasia was colonized by the Brits, you can still see the influence in the citys.
Yes, you sure can.
Msia was not colonised, only some handshakes given to the Brits to give some protections frm crazy war mongers Siamese, the Thais back then in the 18th century😊
Thailand is a beautiful country but sadly overshadowed by prostitution where most single tourists sought for ... well not top of the list but it's quite up there. That isn why Malaysia is most popular with family and married couples looking for a family good time and not a one night stand
That’s right, many people flood to Thailand for the ladies, I agree. I’ve also seen lots of western families in KL, just like you said. I talks about both these things in an upcoming vlog 👍
Cant compare Msia with Thailand. Both are different in culture😊
I'm not a fan of the 7-Eleven there. You have to hit a KK up. It's a real modern city. They put Bangkok to shame. I could live there.
I agree with 7/11. When I first walked in one, I couldn't believe it. It only had a few things on the shelves.
Don't see any weed shops is it illegal there
No mate, can’t do that here .
This is not Malaysia but Bangladesh, I don't have any real Malaysian faces
🙏🙏
Konoha still with IQ🦍
😂😂
Please visit Buhey Dulang Semporna Sabah Malaysia
Maybe one day 👍
The people standing around Wayne could be the same as Hong kong they are wifi zones when your passing you could see a small sign.i mingh be wrong but thought id mention it
I don’t think so buddy, they just all hang out 👍
Just a thought Wayne loving your videos of KL I was there as a teenager a long time ago it's changed a bit.
Enjoy your time there looking forward to seeing more from you. In KL
They are foreign workers living in the shop houses upstairs. Rooms are normally cramped and not comfortable so they normally hang out with friends nearby.
@@malcolmcrick4071 was also there as a teenager in '80. Preferred Penang, and the beach out at Batu Ferringhi... Cheers
