@@russellwoodward764 if you have the tempo range set to wide and the slider all the way at the top, it pauses the music. so my guess is that he hit play before the video started, but with the slider all the way up to essentially pause the track. as soon as he adjusts the tempo, it begins playing again and speeds up as he slides it.
