Second day watching horseshoeing, that Idaho school and Maupin have a new contender. Man, this stuff is so addictive, how am I supposed to go through my day without watching this anymore 😂
@@albertorangelbernal7333I don't view the channels as similar. I was just listing my favourites. I watch Maupin and Jeffers for the quiet process, but I watch S&S and Idaho School for the descriptive process. I'm a city-dweller through and through. I probably have seen a horse in person like twice in my life. So, I don't know if they know what they're doing or not at all. You can tell me what channels you think are good if you know better. I'd go check em out :)
My ringer finger nail looks like your thumb, lol. For very different reasons but still an occupational hazard for the hands of hard workers. Very satisfying to see an animal taken care of and how fast they bounce back with some tlc and persistence. I admire the patience of farriers.
Good remedial shoeing.....(Looks like you have damaged your thumb nail at some point, with the bruised nail. That must have hurt!) Excellent work 👏 as always, on a very overgrown and damaged hoof wall. Great video as always, showing consistent knowledge and expertise. I'd have you shoe my horse any time. 😃
probably similar to how to horse felt before the "restoration" haha this stuff is always so cool to watch, makes my back hurt just looking. what a hard job
hey did u know if u took every ruler on earth and stacked them end to end from earth to the moon they would all float away before u can measure anything
Sometimes an animal's condition isn't really the owner's fault at all, sometimes genetic makeup comes into play causing some conditions. It could be diet as well(Sometimes that's the case if not genetic). I like to keep this in mind as well as make it an awareness to others who might not know. I had a pet invertebrate that had a genetic condition that caused her to have DKS(Dyskinetic Syndrome), which is followed by jerky movement, no appetite and very poor coordination. When others had saw my pet spider, I was met with "She wouldn't be like this if you were giving her water", which they didn't understand that, even if she did have water... This still would unfortunately happen since it is... Well possibly an inheritance. Things like this can happen and be out of the owner's control. I could not have possibly prevented the condition with my own pet. This, This being the very reason why I don't ever put blame on anyone who has an animal like this horse on, "Why'd they let this happen." We don't know the whole story so it's better to not immediately jump to conclusions. If we knew what was really going on, could be a whole different scenario. That's all I can really say.
The iron is too narrow, with two caps at the sides, so the farrier did not understand the hoof mechanism. Oil on a dry hoof will make it even more dry. I would this farrier never ever do my horse :(
If you want to make your videos better make sure the background is not lighter than the subject you’re working on. At 34 seconds into this video, you can clearly tell that the lightness of the floor and the light behind the horse is interfering with good video of the hoof. Don’t take it the wrong way you folks are excellent at fixing horses hooves I don’t expect you to be perfectly good at video but you can improve.

@@albertorangelbernal7333 Maupin is the one with no clue. He carves off so much sole and frog, he has to be laming horses. Idaho does awesome work.
The Idaho Horseshoeing School ones are my favorite because they build the shoes and give detailed descriptions if the horse has a serious issue.
Beautiful to watch this horse get new shoes. The Fairer is so good at it,
and I like watching him work on the horses feet. Good job.
Yes, the FARRIER knows his stuff...
@@tedf1471 Yes, on the horses *HOOVES*
It does my heart good to see the difference a good farrier can make to a neglected horse.......❤❤❤
Excellent job! What a perfect fit!
Great job, looks so much better.
Excellent. Thanks for sharing this video
Great video!
Shine and Clean Hoof ❤️👍🏾
Cool amazing Job
Cheers man, I hope this channel brings you much needed love and extra cash 💚
Beautiful job
lol Why are we obsessed with this? I watch every farrier video that I see.
It is oddly satisfying!!
Cool bro 😎
i bet the horses love it

Amazing work! Much needed improvement, indeed.
What exactly was it that you said when you bruised your nail? lol!
Great series! 👍
I admire your knowledge that you don't hurt the horse, and you don't go too far Bravo
porraria
Looks good now ty

Надеюсь, лошадке стало легче❤спасибо!
Профессионал, без тебя лошадкам не обойтись. 🐴
Впечатляет 👍
It's not just hoof neglect, it's diet neglect too. That hoof separation is terrible.
True. A balanced, quality feed with biotin and methionine added would help grow a better hoof.
Nice horse, beautiful job. Why do you suppose just one hoof was in such bad shape? All 4 hoofs were in the same environment.
He had probably already done the other 3
I would love to see Jordan or a swoosh on the horseshoe. Make your own equivalent it would be sweet.
👍🏼🐴❤️
That's some good blacksmithing right there! He really went to work, feather tapping that shoe for the camera.
BRaVo👍👍👍👍🏆
that horse feels totally safe with you.
That's what the manicurist did to me last week!
3 am gang assamble ⚔️
Bro your black thumb said alot. 👍👍
whats the purpose of the burning of the hoof?
Google hot shoeing, there are some pros to it
hey did u know if u took every ruler on earth and stacked them end to end from earth to the moon they would all float away before u can measure anything
I love you horse 🐎🐴
why do they put those on when their hot?
It's so they can see all the contact areas of the shoe so they can better adjust the fit. This does not hurt the horse at all
the job is none the second
못을 아주 잘 박으시네요~^^
Wow who does your nails? 😂
Why would anyone let their horse's hooves get that bad?

Boy that horse is lacking something in its diet. Bad hoof separation!

Работа высокого класса. Снимаю шляпу...
Have to watch that toe crack, doesn't end up with seedy toe.
Wie kann ein Pferd solche Hufe bekommen?
Vernachlässigung.
Just cut the bad off at first then look at it all you wont

This guy is just trying to do his job, I'm certain he's not too concerned with making his videos cinematic works of art.
I’ve seen worse!
Good job dude .
Nothing worse than trying to focus on your work while people behind your back are talking. Like give the guy a chance to breathe
How do people Neglect. Theirs horses it terrible 🤬🤬🤬
You need a nail restoration yourself
