Michael, I adore this song--because you once said in an interview that when your mom first heard "Show Me," she got up and started dancing. Therefore, this song always makes me think of my own mom, who is now deceased. She loved to dance, and she would have loved this song, and she would have gotten up and danced to it, guaranteed. Thank you for creating such a magnificent song.

Pamela, do you like Show Me better than Twice in a Lifetime or maybe Pacifica? All great smooth jazz sax tunes....and Mr. L. has really got the pipes to make that sax wail, doesn't he?

There is so much feel and love in your playing. Such a sweet song. I would most likely make a guitar cover of this.

Bravo Mr Lington ! SUPER !

A great, great tune, loved this since I first heard it 15 or so years back, but some of us are real sticklers for faithful reproduction of the recordings.....and the guitar guy let you down on this performance. He needed to do a simple, syncopated kind of acoustic guitar chord strumming on intro, through verse/chorus, etc. but instead he's throwing in all these solo licks and riffs. Obviously, your sax carried the melody line, but my goodness, it's not a stretch if the audience still didn't recognize the tune that evening. That album and its production maybe are hard to replicate but backup instruments and their contributions should be gotten right. Sometimes in art/sound, less is more.
