Love it! I had to chuckle when you called the vines that came off as "fallen soldiers" coz that's what I called a succulent leaf that fell off from the mother plant 😅
Thanks for this video.. All this while I was twisting my vines around the moss stick very close to the stick, very tightly & also one vine tightly next to the other just to create more space lengthwise. It didn't harm the plant but this time I will try keeping it a bit loose.. although I wonder if the intermittent nodes would have gone deeper into the stick because they were so close to it & will I be able to remove them
Do you have a video on how to swap out the moss pole for a longer one? My monstera has outgrown its pole and I’m wondering whether to simply add an extension or switch it out altogether.
Not a single root have propagated inside the stick, nor the colour of the stick has changed as the plant seems to be old. What is the point in showing such video
It was helpful to me. I just rearranged my cebu blue from going straight up the moss pole to wrapped it around and I was not confident wrapping was ok. Rearranging helps you not to have to put an extension pole on or switch out for a larger pole all together and I am so glad to know it’s ok to unstick your plant even though we didn’t see him have to unstick his. I am confident about my money saving decision now, but I also understand where you are coming from sorry the vid wasn’t helpful to you.
Dont the vines suffocate each other when you wrap so many of them around the pole? I have an overgrown pothos that I have been folding over and over the top and roots are super secure on the pole (fabric) and it seems impossible for me to rearrange it 😭
Hi! Just stumbled upon this. I have a 5ft tall variegated epipremnum pinnatum that has massively out grown its pole and I want to switch the pole to a self watering pole ADD lower all of the vines so all the mature leaves are at the bottom and will continue to grow mature fenestrated leaves as it grows back up BUT the aerial roots are so deep into the pole… I truly don’t know how to go about this! Helppppp
Hey James! To switch your Epipremnum pinnatum to a self-watering pole and adjust for mature leaf growth: moisten the current pole to ease detaching the plant. If roots are embedded, carefully cut away the pole. Install the new pole and reattach the plant lower for desired leaf positioning. Trim any damaged roots, using rooting hormone on cuts. Water well after repositioning and keep in indirect light. It may take time for the plant to adjust, so be patient! 💚 🌱
my pothos plant is super super long like yours. it's in a 3 gallon pot. what size pot is yours in? also do i just keep going around the pot or ive seen where all the leaves are in the front too.
Hey!! For your long pothos, both wrapping around the pot for a full look or arranging the leaves to face the front work great. It's about your visual preference. For a front-facing display, gently guide and secure vines as needed. Both methods will showcase its length beautifully in a 3-gallon pot.
I have 2 huge pothos just put em on my walls , its too much for me so I’m thinking a mosspole instead. Should I take the plant out completely to add a pole ? (advice anyone)
Yes! In order to provide your plants with ultimate support using a Bendable Moss Pole, you will have to take them off the wall and repot it. We hope that helps :)
If your pothos is still thriving and you're noticing roots crowding the bottom or growing out of drainage holes, it's time for a bigger pot. A size up, about 1-2 inches larger in diameter, should be perfect for giving it the space it needs to continue growing healthily.
Thank u so much i needed this 😅 Spread the word to all plant people!
So nice of you!
My first and favorite plant is a golden pothos, and I named him Lazarus because he keeps coming back from the dead.

why are the leaves not getting bigger with the plant on a support pole?

What size plant pot should I use for a plant that size same as mine
Hey Khortni! For best results, you can choose a pot size that is 1-2” larger than the pot size you had previously! :)
Ok thanks @mossify
Absolutely beautiful I’m trying a moss pole this week. Thanks for the great tips. Btw we’re did you get the mister from?
