Lol... 1:01:07. Here's Ondra's last chance... as the timer counts down... WILL HE DO IT? (and, let's instead show a reply of Noguchi's final attempt... )
I remember watching it back in 2014, ruling for Adam Ondra and oh man he was playing on my nerves :DD. Nearly every top he gets there one hand, greets the fans, looks like he wants to just fall back to the ground and THEN casually puts the second hand on top. Especially at 1:58:05 ... :DDD mad.
Weird assembling... Isn't it posible just to split video in two parts - for viewers to be able to see both climbs at the same time? IFSC, you can do better :)
How the F*** can you have soooo many cameras going up down all around the place and miss the only thing that is important!!! We just want to see all of them in the same time!!! why don't you split the screen and stay focused??? WHY??? How can you suck so much with cameras!!! HOW?? really guys, HOW??
While this was incredible some of the film shots were not good. The height of idiocy was they panned to the crowd when Adam was on the wall! how stupid. Who wants to see the crowd when a climber is on the wall? Also, the lens is wide enough to take in both climbers, why zero in on one only when you could be watching both? Added to that, the commentator was not the most literate, his final statement that got me was "if Ondra or Hojer don't top out then ... wins" not so, that should have been if Ondra and Hojer don't top out. Both had three tops with one to go and the other fellow only had 3 out of 4 tops. Maybe I am being pedantic, however, grammar is important.
Kruder & Le Neve 13:40 39:05 1:05:15 1:36:15
Gl' Mondet & Puccio 18:45 43:50 1:09:15 1:41:17
Hori & Tracy 24:10 47:30 1:15:05 1:46:20
Sharafutdinov & Coxsey 29:20 52:35 1:20:40 1:51:17
Ondra & Naguchi 34:30 57:10 1:25:45 1:56:35
Hojer & Wurm 36:40 1:02:25 1:30:50 2:01:25
top!
thanks for that
You beast
one of the best finals ever. Perhaps the best.
Agreed. When I saw Adam and Jan do M1 after watching everyone fall on that hard finish move... The setting was better then
Climbing starts 13:30

Yes, the production is incredibly clumsy
Decisions of when to show replays or pan to the crowd were extremely terrible...
The toehook on W1 from Alex Puccio was SO smart

Sad to see naguchi out so soon.
Great comp!
Awful camera work makes this unwatchable. Why are the cameras cutting half of the climbers off? We can't see their footwork.
So true!! The camera people think only the hands matter ...
what a thriller in the end !

Keep in mind that you are watching a low popularity sport for free on UA-cam. Don't expect Super Bowl quality, be happy you get to watch it at all.
Brilliant final, congrats to the climbers and route setters. I really thought Puch might win it when she made that last problem!
59:25 she's awesome ! and so beautiful ;)
this loudmouth commentator is irritating. bring back dan!!
Awful video recording...
terrible camera work
why doesn't Daniel woods join ifsc? and is thr like a final bouldering competition, like the world cup for soccer. Or isit jus circuit points
wow Japanese female climbers are dam good
stanleygqm he does not join cause he is THE MAN OF THE ROCK ^^ :D
stanleygqm I believe he did compete in most of the world cups in 2010, won a couple medals too.
where is Dan Finn?!
I heard he has gone back to his acting career
That is very sad to hear!
so why does Ondra shave his armpits? 2:24:40
Less weight ofcourse!
Best comment LoL
judging by his eyebrows I doubt he shaves his pits!
All of them have them shaved :D.
the men/women thing just makes it impossible to watch either

k
Supersach!
THE WORST PRODUCTION I'VE SEEN IN A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!
Wait for the 2021 comps ^^ The camerawork is more than poor.
Unwatchable
