    Man I have watched this video so many times. Your topography in design allowed me to see the bypass. I have tried to copy the design precisely a few times and have tried my own style a few. You make it look so easy and clean. Mine aren't atm but my skills and understanding are improving. Thanks to you, I spent my first decade building my project(trash) pile and now I'm revisiting it. I just wanted to say thank you. My wife thinks she can see a day that one day a toroidal transformer won't reside there, but it's the table that will be transforming into a enclosure. I have purchased a good number of modules to meet my needs but breaking open a AliExpress package contains no joy compared to the feelings I get when I break down anything I feel worthy of inspecting because who needs all this junk

    Great Video!
    If I can make a suggestion or two:
    1. Both transistors must be connected to the same heatsink to ensure equal temperature rise to keep the gain as close as possible. Else the tranistor with slightly higher gain will end up carrying more and more current and burn out.
    2. Connect a high power, 0.1 ohm resistor in each of the transistors' emitter legs to help balance the current through each power transistor - else one will work harder and let the magic smoke out...
    3. Use a lower value pot to make the adjustment slightly easier and less sensitive to small movement of the knob.
    4. Add a 100nF cap to the input and output of the 317 to help with regulation stability and prevent oscillation
    5. Use think wires for large currents!

    Possible only in switch mode. Linear regulated power supplies develop the more heat, the bigger the difference between in and out. The simplest way is the worst 🥶

    In your pictorial diagram you have 3 wires colored red wire in upper, blue line in the middle & black at the bottom. Now; which is the input, is it the upper red line? How about the output, is it the blue line in the middle? Another is, is TIP35C a PNP or NPN?

Yaklaşık 8-10 tane tip3055 i paralel bağlayarak o meşhur lm317 akım ve voltaj ayarlı devreyi yapacağım. 3055leri paralel bağlarken emitörlerinin arasına kaç ohmluk direnç koymalıyım? Sadece emiyörler arasına mı koyacağım? Bir de akım ayarlı olacağı için çekilen akım da değişken olacak. Buna höre nasıl hesaplamalıyım?

    Great videos as usual. This one and the electric Humvee are great. I have the same battery rack set up you do. While your experiment is awesome I didn't want to buy any extra special tools to make it. I've watched other videos where people have made somewhat the same set up. I chose to use a small open frame 4KW Open frame generator with 3 golf cart chargers. I can put the generator by itself outside. I recently switched up to a repair inverter generator. Total cost $700 For the generator and 20a 48v golf cart chargers. I added some current limiting in case everything went haywire. I'm wondering using the alternator and using a boost converter or several boost converters. I've tested 1800w boost converters in parallel for charging directly. Thanks again.

    Hola te sigo en cada videos que subis. Excelente el proyecto que realizaste. Pregunta? Por lo que vi que se puede inyectar cualquier tipo de corriente a la entrada por ejemplo de 24 a 27,5v y dejarlo a 12 ó 14v continuamente. Excelente justo lo que necesitaba.

    Hello. When charging, my battery shows 13-16-18 volts. Can I stabilize it with such a regulator so that the output from the battery is stable at 12.5 volts while it is charging and the voltage on it jumps from 13 to 18 volts?

    Mr. excuse-me, but the transistors was very hot only 2A (motor coil). In addition, I can't return voltage to 0v in my case 2,9v was the minor value. Can you help-me?

Bueno amigo mi pregunta es la sigue te ! Si toca las 2 puntas de la salida se quemaria el circuito o alguno de los transistores ? Ya que no le veo un sistema de protecion contra cortocircuito es lo unico que le aria falta a este proyecto espero su respuesta gracias buen dia exitos en sus proyectos...

    This is a simple linear controlled system. If you do not pay attention to the power dissipation at a high difference between input and output voltage, the transistors are destroyed very quickly.

      @@johnzarollin2749 more transistors with 0.22 ohm emitter resistors each, but with this design it's a problem. With 1 volt and 50 amps output you get 3000 watt power dissipation

    Sugiero una resistencia de 0.22 en cada transistor. Al emisor de cada transistor debe ir una resistencia de 0.5 ohms 10W para que ambos transistores trabajen igual.

    Nice ASMR...I would have like to seen you demo the load capability for those LM317HVTs . Put an ammeter in the output circuit. Those are overkill for that little lamp. Also, why did'nt you put a filter cap across the input?

    Схема годная только как ознакомительная для начинающих, никакие 50А она не выдержит и будет греться как трактор. Для высоких нагрузок лучше делать ШИМ.

    Where do you hide the input power source ? Show that too....
    If the input power gives only 1 or 2 amp. , will the output power after transistor boost , can become 5 amp ?

    Weitere Möglichkeit:
    Der erste ein LM . Der zweite ein Mosfet wie der IFRZ 460 P [400 V]oder 250 P [200V] (mit G - S unter 10 kohm Brücke, damit er normal schaltet,wie vorgesehen), und die Spannung anpasst an das nachgeschaltete höher Volt'ige - Gleichstrom - Netz nach vorausgehender Spannungsteilervoreinstellung am LM und auch so proportional anhebt. Die zwei Tips - 36 C Transistoren werden von diesem bedient als Leistungsendstufe, oder noch einfacher gleich durch einen einzelnen IGBT wie den IRG4PH40U mit doppelter Leistung [bis 600V, 1200V] bei größerem Spannungsregelbedarf. Dann sind noch "beliebige höhere Spannungen" am Ausgang je nachdem beabsichtigt , möglich regelbar . Jetzt passt alles, der Reihe nach zusammen.ua-cam.com/video/ImOFwCLoX9E/v-deo.html

    No tiene lazo de realimentacion.
    El voltaje de ese circuito es inestable.
    Lo correcto es poner transistores pnp como refuerzo de amperaje
    Como lo dicen los DATASHEET del lm317

    Üstad kullandığın transistörlerin base bacakları maksimum 5 volt ama eğer videodan yanlış görmüyorsam voltaj regülatörünün çıkış bacağını araya taş direnç bağlayarak base e bağlıyorsun. Regülatörden 60v gelince transistörler nasıl halen sağ kalıyorlar?

      1/2 w es para que se dañe a cada rato, entre más w tenga resiste más el calor ya que eso se calienta(conceptos básicos de electrónica).
