Beautiful portrait, Max. I'm practicing honing my animal portrait skills. Quite coincidentally, I'm doing a Golden Retriever for someone who just recently lost their sweet dog. Do you mind telling me your palette? I'm using Yellow Ochre, Fired Gold Ochre, Ultra Marine Blue, Burnt Sienna, and Burnt Umber. All are Daniel Smith's watercolors. I very much admire your wet in wet technique .... I just have to resist fiddling. Thank you for sharing your skills. Wish there was an audio and realtime (hint, hint).
I love your style! I notice you add white quite later on in the video - for whiskers, etc. what do you use? I’ve been using a white pen, and am not happy with the results.

I'm using both, but i prefer transparent because they shine more. Some colors are only available in opaque.
