i think having a witch next to the grindstone would be better. From what i've seen % dmg buffs do work on grindstone and transfer to other units. Correct me if i'm wrong
My knowledge says yes.
Idea I had was to keep a flow of boreas GS and witch, may not be one on the grindstone one minute but that can change at any merge.
The instakill witch probably would've helped here more though, or even Necro maybe
I love Breas Grindstone. Not as high as you but its doing some serious damage to people almost 800 crit above me and still getting wins. Running mermaid can help so much againstroxic decks.

I am trying to understand Boreas' talent, since I am new to this unit
Could you tell me the answer for these please?
1. I have Boreas with lv. 13 talent set to "Doublet", which means "Every 3rd switching by Boreas to 2nd phase allows him to attack an additional target". Does this mean it is considered that Boreas attack MULTIPLE targets if this behavior is activated? Or is it still treated as "attacking SINGLE target", but doubled?
2. Boreas talent lv. 11, "Shower of Arrows", it is written "shower of arrows at monsters dealing 200 damage, the damage depends on the merge rank". Where can I find information of which merge rank deals what damage, e.g. merge rank 1 deals 200, merge rank 2 deals xxx, merge rank 3 deals yyy, and so on

I have never seen information on merge rank damage but rain of arrows is a lot of damage added to DPS.
Doublet is multi target, it all goes to 1 target if it's on a boss wave though until a second/third spawns.

why not using scrapper ? or portal keeper, to get used of grindstone formation bonus, "next to each other" or at least put boreas around grindstone
So playing w banshee banshee/trapper/bomb/pk/dryad has been killing it w set up and getting 10 orbs but falls off in dmg and folds to late bedlum/puppeteer. The only time it reaches high dmg is w earth elemental but EE is so slow! Grindstone works to but I think a EE build won't fold to a flipping if you have portal keeper to keep banshees @ the edge. hopefully you OAT up some sauce. Swords is ok if you have the talent to let it sit. Scrapper has been messy for me early if i can't get set up early. Does OATS no di wae?
I've been messing around a little bit, and my best is stalling, merge deck that and just hope for the best 😂 I'll give yours a go

And what does the left third talent do to Boreas? I don't fully understand the meaning of this talent.
Left side is two projectiles,which I feel fits better for grindstone. Right side is 2x damage but 1 projectile. The left side is very good for Necro/hex effects
