Love watching your videos and learning more about using excel. Just one question, I seem to see a lot of tutorials where when the are trying to find say total sum they just use sum(A:A). How come no one puts their data in a table format so it looks nicer in the functions (I.e. =sum([*Total])). If there’s any downsides to this way I’d like to know. Keep up the good work
For large growing data, a better way to make pivot tables automatically account all data reference only the columns A:D. This is better because dropping the end row only makes it add the last row which might not always be enough. ;-)

Leila, re: embedding a sheet to a web page...can this be embedded into a members site behind a log in? That way it’s still private except to those with the log in? Is that correct?
Leila. I used google sheet instead of desktop excel because I used a stock macro pull and could just refresh instantly. Each time sheet was opened stock data was live. Thanks so much for your tips on all these. I use MS tricks at work even though I do IBM mainframe coding. Excel is very big as a validator and data extractor
I am trying to do a formula and need some help. I have a large list of things and am wanting to have a selection made to pick out items in that list. For example my list is in column A I have check box in column B " my list has over 5000 things so over 5000 rows each with a check box in column b" what I am wanting to do is when I want A45 and I check the box in B45 it copies everything from A45 and puts it in C45 and changes the color background to a different color in A45. Does anyone know the formula to do this any help would be very helpful :}
Really helpful... Now I look at google sheets as a step up from excel except keyboard shortcuts to use menu functions like Alt + H + H = Color Basically it's like while using Google spreadsheets I am again back to using mouse alot ! Which I believe affects overall time taken to complete a task :p

Unhide a hidden sheet with one click on its name in a cell. Can this be done for google sheets? I have a cell with the code "=TF!$E$5" in it. The code feches the content from sheet "TF" in cell "E5" and displays it in the cell on my main sheet. Tip no. 3 is very useful since we work in Google drive so we can create a link and share it to the clients so that they can access the data without login into drive👍
Never seen someone explain sheet like she did well done I use excel its hard to me to change to sheets but i will try to learn it in the summer nice job

Unfortunately, Sheets does not have tables.

One of the nice things about google sheets is that it is free. I wish if MS excel is free to use.
