@Dylan Sanders-Swales Do you know of any resources on this kind of stuff? I'm trying to study how the movie model transformations were done so I can replicate it myself.
@UnderYourCloset I don’t have a clue how they do it, I mean I’m trying to do it in blender. But there are literally no resources about it anywhere! I think you’ve got to start by just making a blocky car or modelling one of the really small transformers toys to see how it all fits together. I’ve only done stopmotions with them 😂 (btw, I’m Dylan Sanders Swales but I’m using a different account)
@@djssdigital4103 I just read a helpful article with tons of technical info from ILM, if you wanna check it out. They literally just had the robot fold into a pose that fit inside the car, and then animated all the complex part movement however looked best per shot. So no transformation is the same. www.creativebloq.com/making-transformers-3123105 I'm honestly confused about what they mean by dynamic rigging. Does that mean they can just move multiple elements in a general direction or what? How do you make parts automatically not intersect with each-other? gahhhh lol
@@djssdigital4103 I'm most likely going to make a smaller Frenzy-ish sized model. I already have a concept drawn of one that turns into a bicycle. I'm hoping to model it in Blender and do some basic AO maps, and then chuck it into Quixel Mixer to texture, then hopefully HOPEFULLY make the shot in Unreal Engine 4. UE has been a WHOLE OTHER challenge lol
Thanks for the comments. :) That was requested by the clients. Their car was featured in the movie, and they had rights from the movie. Even if the model looks very similar, it was entirely modeled and textured from scratch, and the pieces are different from the original design.
Very good models, they are very creative and unique. And I say that because almost all Transformers fan render/animations/models are just Optimus and bumblebee (rarely Ironhide and megs) in other cars
I kind of find it funny when transformers in the movies are supposed to be "robots in disguise", yet choose cars that stand out the most. Like if they were trying to actually hide they'd choose like a prius, or a civic or whatever mas production car there is. But noooooooooooooo. It has to be the latest sports car or a limited production million dollar car. This makes sense. Car mode. I wouldn't even bat an eye it that car drove past me. Robot mode, total badass!
Hey, is there a way we can talk? I’m trying to make a TF fan film for which I have a script ready, and all the voice actors needed. I would like to negotiate what it would take for you to be a part of this team. Thank you in advanced, and have a blessed day!
i just wanna watch how to making trans..... but i also like bg music !! its so much unique music, i never ever heared like this music before it"s awsome 10x plus
Hey, do you know the short flash animation videos from the Transformers movie franchise made by Osro? You should see them, those videos are unique and very cool. This message is for CGMeetup, the creator of these videos.
Imagine creating such beautiful models and renders, only to have the animators shit on everything. It looked beautiful, but jeeeeezas, The Post Bangkok needs to either fire it's animators or send them on some animation workshops or something. Urgh.
lol, outch :) Thanks for the comments, we're open for new animators if you want to join. No, seriously, the entire commercial was done in less than 8 weeks, and we had very little time between client approves, most of the time less than a week to address all the comments. Animators have to rush because after them there is still the rendering and compositing to be done, and at that time we had only 2 animators working on this commercial. Also, this video is only a sub-set of the entire commercial. The landing and transformation shot was re-done so many times, with each week a new animation, so I would like to congratulate the animators, working so much, spending nights on it so that the renders could go through the next day :)
Yeah, I can't even begin to imagine how much work goes into building pieces that work for both car and robot and the transformation rig
Mashtru Peppi it is ungodly

the bad guy is just a megatron render from dark of the moon but with a diffrent head

@@Theorymus hello there
Good writers. Good voice actors and boom there's your show
Yeppp definitely!!
These people also worked on Transformers Prime, I suggest search up Episode 61 and you’ll tell a few similarities
so Epic! i wanna be able to make modeling and riggin of that level...
Very good models, they are very creative and unique. And I say that because almost all Transformers fan render/animations/models are just Optimus and bumblebee (rarely Ironhide and megs) in other cars
The enemy robot is 90% made of Dotm Megatron.
@@Canny_Ani well, at least is more original than Optimus in a black civic
When I look at the red one, I think,of Rodimus Prime.
Awesomeness 10 ok I do to
I think of Cliffjumper
Enemy robot is a reuse from DoTM Megatron it seems... pretty cool!
Holy shit you’re right
he looks like tarn from the idw comics
optimus prime 167 He does actually!
Maybe that’s how Tarn would’ve looked in the movies.
Yep!
Awesome job! 👍
So much work put into this.
a supersonic robot makes his disguise into a 1.5L engine small car..... unbelievably subtle.... good 3D modeling though
The Enemy Bot Looks like Megatron from Transformers 3 but with a different head 0:31

you should make this into a youtube series just like a tv series or maybe a game and maybe into a movie!
and you should shut up
What is the background music? At some point a sample from a Nine Inch Nails song plays too.
good work
Awesome

what progam was used?
hola. buen trabajo. puedes hacer skins para counter strike 1.6 . seria hermoso ver su trabajo
What program do you use to design
to the transformers?
It was modeled in 3D Studio Max, rendered with VRay and composited with Nuke. Most scenes from the commercial are full CG.
somehow a car transformer can fly, also the red carpet part, robot mode is too big compared to the car
What can human-sized robot transform into though 🤔
Motorcycle?
WOW!

i could also do this with blender
How to do this?
Sonari jacobi
My man mirage thered robot
Takara, Hasbro, IDW, Paramount and others all itching to sue, I'm sure.
Yes, I imagine it looks like that, but the clients had the rights, and their car was featured in the movie.

Why does the black one look like ironhide
