Yet another very helpful and informative Video from the master of running commentary which makes you feel part of the event. I think the the way you decide to change method of fishing is absolutely spot on. Thanks again Jon.
I love the way you just keep at it through thick and thin, changing this and that never downcast and a superb outlook, keep em coming Jon, well done and thank you.
Hallo John I'm new to fishing at 70 I've been a couple of times and haven't got anything yet so your durability is helping me and I will keep trying Thanx jon
Another great video & decent result for you John. Proper mixed bag, never knowing what was coming next. Well done👍🏻 Oh, and don’t be too hard on your ‘radio face’ & accent(s) - we’ll do that for you!😏🤣🤣🤣 Thanks, once again, for the efforts you take to bring us this great entertainment.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video Jon, the running commentary is the way forward, honestly this was one of the most informative videos I have watched, please carry on 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Well done John 👏 always try to get the very best out of your peg, top angler ,wish I was half as good 👍. Good luck in all up and coming matches/festivals.
Great video Jon, I quite like the voice over format! Currently trying to book onto a festival at Whiteacres! Three days I have been calling and leaving messages!
Well done Jon and all respect to others for not talking while fishing so close and to be fair gives you time to concentrate your a top angler and I watch all your videos trust me
Cheers matey ... off here again in July for two weeks, don’t usually fish Pollawyn but interesting to see all the different spices in there ! Good perseverance I’d say alternating with all the methods.
Great video Jon and your commentary was very informative and nothing wrong with your accent (I’ve a wirral accent similar to scouse but different, not better or worse just different) I always enjoy your videos and think you’re actually better than you give yourself credit for Thanks for your work
great as always, I hate talking to the camera if got people close by, I've been struggling to put any vids up as fishing really taking alot out of me atm, thanks for your hard work mate really appriciate👍
The accent changes depending on who I'm talking to as well. 10 minutes at Lindholme and I'm a Yorkshireman! 10 mins at Gold Valley and I'm a cockney! :-)
@@JonArthur ha ha It's called the chameleon effect, I'd still understand you if you was in Yorkshire Jon, as my missus is a yorkshire lass, and I'd understand you at gold Valley as I'm from london, That would be quite fun to hear too
Another good result Jon considering the tight pegging, 2nd in section is still a good with the class of anglers that fish the festivals at White Acres. Keep on winning Jon.
Ha ha, cheers Dean. I know I made one mistake in the vid saying Dave was on the next peg, not you, so apologies for that, but once I realised it would've taken me ages to correct and re-upload it! Maybe see you down there again...
Its nice to mix it up. Occasionally doing a voice over you can give more detail or be more constructive as you will have an overview on the whole match. Thanks for the free footage we appreciate it.
If I had the money to spend I’d love to fish a festival there. I’ve been 3 times now for a week holiday with the family and fished everyday I love the place
Brilliant result on a tough day Jon I'd say your accent is posh brummie my mates from Knowle in Solihull and he's the same I'm from walsall so I'm a propa yam yam lol
On this vid I was using my Horizon Pro 10ft Carp Feeder rod, 8lb Horizon mono and a 3000 Horizon reel. 12ft Horizon Pro Waggler on the float. All the best.
I just tend to prefer them. They are better balanced and don't slide backwards so easily if the anti reverse is not on, plus it's easier to locate. But I can fish with singles too quite happily.
I like White Acres but family don't as it's a bit remote from beaches so not a lot for them to do while I am fishing At least you had your own landing net handle though LOL
Thanks Jon, enjoy your match videos immensely. It is my ambition to make my wife pay for a days coaching with you…coaching is for me not her! Keep it going mate, all the best for 2022 👍.
Hi Jon I’ve also replaced my elastic on my guru feeders and bomb but not confident I’ve used the right knots any advice. Keep doing the films excellent advice and helps me improve my fishing.
I had two set up on the day. I like a little 'hair net' Fine Mesh Landing Net 35x45cm for small to medium fish and a medium Carp Landing Net 50x40cm for medium to large ones.
@@JonArthur I thought that you had them a month ago on the vids. I look forward to seeing you & Jamie using them on all future videos then. I'm only pulling your leg - no one will blame you if you carry on using your Drennan. Keep up the good work - I may even join your VIP service.
Accents are wonderful things Jon.There'd be nothing worse than everyone sounding the same. Of course, not having one, makes me particularly qualified to comment ;-)
it was good Jon I have no problem with the voice over as maybe there is a little more detail in what you are doing. You are actually fishing and need to focus. I will join your channel when my current subscription finishes on another channel.

I like the fact that you are just as obsessive as myself about your fishing. At least I found someone else that colours all their pole floats silver so you can’t see the body of the float under the water.

Appreciate that Brian
Great video Jon the voice over was ok. Love that lake fantastic for the range of fish in the edges.
It's a moody lake but I like the challenge... most of the time!
Will be down there 1st week in July can’t wait.😊
Great result Jon from not a brilliant area kept changing to keep the fish coming... Top class angler well done 👍 🎣

Yes Ive often had the same issue trying to get in touch. My advice is dont leave messages and you dont get a response.
Well done Jon a great result and interesting way to fish but it had the finish you wanted as a good section result so tight lines 🎣🎣🎣⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Can I ask why you like the double handle on the reel compared to a single 🤔
I personally find it catches on my hand when reeling in.

Hi Jon I’ve also replaced my elastic on my guru feeders and bomb but not confident I’ve used the right knots any advice. Keep doing the films excellent advice and helps me improve my fishing.
There is a couple of videos that Des Shipp and Rob Wootton have done if you search. The key is to do a single twist before doing the knot.
well done

What landing net do you use normally for carp and f1s ? Great video🎣

Great vid. Why aren't you using the new matrix catapults that you & Jamie have been promoting?
I am now that they are officially available. They only hit the shops a couple of weeks ago.

Great video. Using GoPro. What editing software do you please. I do a lot of walking and would love to edit some
Final Cut Pro on a Mac. To start with I'd recommend iMovie. If you're on a PC then Adobe Premiere.
Is White Acres a fishery pellet only venue or can you use your own please?
It's fishery pellet on festivals and matches. Use your own when pleasure fishing.
