I was underleveled going there, only a good shotgun. Oh this was a stressful one. But I survived that. Way better leveled I later did the followup quest in the high plains, there I was munched once, playing too arrogant.
When I did this quest I believe I stumbled upon a scene where I had to investigate clues to activate it. That’s if I remember correctly. I wish I had filmed the part before it.
Feral thanators are a lot easier than non-feral. I killed 2 at the same time with a 110 shotgun, and I am only level 8. Didn’t take much damage. The regular thanator one-shots me every time I tried!
@@logosgaming1987 it will be a bit for me. You got to be able to tank at least a couple of hits, and your bow gotta be at least 190. Coupled with the right food and a bit of luck. After the first two attacks the creature pauses and hisses, giving you an opening to the weak spot. Either that, or you have to be really good at dodging and aiming🤑
To be more specific, they are Thanators that the RDA performed experiments on, removed their kuru (their head tails they use to neural link with things and each other, and shaped for combat). So now they are basically insane and violent. They just run around killing anything they can indiscriminately.

Can you tell me how to get a powerful bow

Why is there nothing on the feral hunter quest? Im literally only missing 1 feral thanator and i can't find it anywhere

Check in your hunter guide. It tells you where to find them.

Don’t be afraid to do something else for a bit. It may be just a matter of getting a higher damage weapon.

this hunting quests are 100% the same as far cry primal hunting...This is what I don´t like here.
I think they’re the same as most open world games, except it’s in Avatar. I like it.
