I do both DJ work and live sound. I use the RCF 705 for both. They hit so hard with great clarity. Yamaha is a good choice but if you have the extra cash the RCF are the way to go.
Keep in mind with subwoofers, especially when they're new, you need to break them in and they'll Sound even better. I personally own a lot of yamaha Gear, as well as the RCF 705asii, and they're great subs. Really powerful and you just gotta have to know when to use them.
@@jaycam2886 Yeah, I was looking for tops that would give me the best possible bass without using subs because I have a small'ish car, and the HDM 45's are it. Incredible low end for full range tops.
Rcf have a professional sounding bass but in order for you to get the the power it required what u need to do is use a splitter xlr cable to utilize both inputs or run 2 xlr cable to ch1 & ch2 inputs ull hear the difference ...hit me up when u try it
It appears on the Yamaha you have the base boost mode on (D contour mode). If you turn that off you can go more than 50 percent power. I own two of those Yamahas and they do put out some very clean mean bass. Used them at a reception last Saturday 250 people and had to dial them back some...lol...
Thanks for video :) Can you please tell me what of those two subs give chest pounding bass? I m looking for some small psytrance party. I m thinking that yamaha is better for that type of music. What do you think? Thanks and keep your ears safe :)
That’s my favorite tops also I have 2 and can be used in my surround system they are so great sounding I use home audio subs right now but just bought a peavy pro to play around with, BTW great review I will be following you buddy 👍
You make one mistake with the level setting. you turn up the full level on the Amplifier and turn your master up on your Mixer to the Point, when lights up the limiter and turn a little moment back the level. then you get the full reverse of your volume and you dont cracked your speakers with clipping signal.
thanks for getting a heads up, i have RCF 312 ART and i want to get a 15" i was looking for the 705 AS but now the Yamaha might be a good contender. What would you recommend?
How do you set up your volumes on the rcf 705 and your cabinets? I'm having a hard time matching a good punch. should I keep the 705 at max or ar 3 o'clock what do you recommend ?
Thanks for the review!! I'm exactly seeing which one of those brands I'm gonna buy but the 18". I was watching and reading a lot about RCF and Yamaha and according to what I saw, RCF's sound is warmer and better, and the Yamaha one is louder (always good but not the same level like RCF) Do you agree? What do you think about this?
i Agree my friend returned the Yamaha after hearing my 705 we test it in the park the Yamaha was loud muddy and harsh, however after10min running both subs on high the Yamaha started to heat up pretty fast and the RCF sounded even smoother on full power the louder it got the better it performed just peaking on Red for 30min running it just purrrrsss.

499 for the DXS15 MKII? Where!?

Rcf bottoms with rcf tops is my main set up too. Best sound quality I’ve ever owned.
I haven't heard RCF tops yet, but the bottoms have the best Bass I've heard.
Listen to the RCF HDM 45A they are crazy Crystal clear Highs and Mids and the low end just blow me away its way better than the RCF 745

Let’s get down to business, man. This video is informative and made me laugh. Thank you

Your thoughts on the RCF 905
I loved your song "Because I Got High"
U should compare RCF with the QSC Ks118 👍
Not a fair comparison dude the RCF is a 15'' and QSC 18''
Have you compare those subs up against Ev ekx15sp?
No I havent. I would love to.
Ramon Valdez EV will not be any better that’s for sure.
Need to redo this test with the Newer Yamaha DXS15mkII
I just got my 705 few days ago to go alone with my rcf hd12a and Fbt maxx 6a
Hey, what’s up? How many people do u think it can handle on a closed environment?

A ja zawsze robiłem odwrotnie. Zazwyczaj dawałem do połowy master i do połowy na wzmacniaczu. Dobrze wiedzieć dzięki za radę 👍
Thank you for this review. Where are u in Louisiana?
Shreveport

You can get 2 DXS15s for the price of one RCF. But if money and size isn't an issue, I would get the RCF.
@@DJBomBay1996 just bought the rcf 705 for an incredible price thanks for the review
@@jccalmet641 How much u get it for?
ProAudiostar has them right now for $806.65 brand new

Thanks buddy really helped
The RCF sounds nice but 700 RMS is to low for me i would like them to be 1100rm gives you plenty of head room its annoying when they keep limiting
passive set up is your friend. old school amp gives you more flexibility also.
Why care about wattage ? SPL is the only number that matters.
Nice review

the RCF is amazing. The bass is different, really smooth. Yamaha hits hard, but it's kind of hard and muddy.
@@DJBomBay1996,
Might it be Yamaha for live bands and RCF for electronic music as Techno or House music?
Uno más rcf if no doubt a superior brand. There’s no question about that.
Or is it because he has the bass boost on?

thanks. more video.
Signal to hot
RCF is better clear and loud

YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE A MIXER SIR! PA SPEAKERS GO K A - B O O M !!! LOL
