I shipped Beuyasha SO HARD from the begining of the campaign, then I took a respectful step back when they made it clear they werent into it, NOW IM BREAKING ALL THE WINE BOTTLES! THIS SHIP IS SAILING! I like how this relationship has had so much natural progression. C2 has really been playing hard on the nuances of human relationships. Beau and Yasha are different people than when they started, and they would have to be. BOTH of them were so emotionally unavailable in the begining. They both went on these long journeys and circled right back to eachother :') (it reminds me a bit of Laura an Travis' IRL relatiomship story)
Beau slowly transcends after seeing the mirror "That's gonna be useful," Yasha commented as she eyed at the mirror. Meanwhile the gay panic sirens were going off in Beau's head. Jester retching in the background during their bug conversation 😩👌👌👌
Does anyone thought (wanted) that Yasha stayed in Beau's room that night? I sure did, lol. Just something the rest of the party overlooked or something.
Andrew Liang yeah but I’m sure nothing wouldn’t happened cause Beau was being a nerd going over her notes. It’s the first day in the mansion. Give it some time. Also their rooms are pretty cool so I’m sure Yasha was looking at her moving flower painting
I find myself at a genuine point of conflict with Beauyasha. Initially it felt organic, you have a friend circle, Beau is obviously attracted to damaged people seeing as she's damaged herself to some level. And for a while it seemed like an obvious match in spite of Yashas past? But now it feels like both Marisha and Ashley are so aware of that tension, they're playing in to it... And that really does remove any sense of agency from a character perspective? All of that aside, even though it's a game, it must be exceptionally weird for Matt to have to listen to scenarios where it's his wife and partner, openly setting up a sexual scenario with one of his close friends under a mirrored canopy?
I'm sure they've talked about it and He knows Beauregard is like that. Liam talked to Marisha and Matt about relationship between keyleth and Vax, im sure the same happened here. We didnt see as many sexual scenarios with them unlike Perc'ahlia...
As far as the characters are concerned: they're flirting with one another- Yasha now having moved on from Zuala, and Beau admitting to Fjord how she feels. In regards to the players: they are such good friends, I don't think it's an issue.
Considering that this circle of friends has had no issue whatsoever letting their characters get into sexual scenarios without it impacting their irl relationships (and the fact that almost all of them are trained actors who are more than capable of separating roleplay from reality), I don't think Matt is going to have any issue with Beau and Yasha hitting it off the way they are. Also, don't forget that several of Matt's characters had both romantic and sexual relationships with the PCs, like Gilmore, Yeza, Avantika, the multiple sex workers that appear throughout both campaigns, and arguably Astrid. I'm pretty sure the cast is fine with all of this.
I don't know how valid my opinion and experience is on the subject but me and my partner are in a distanced relationship and honestly I don't mind that they have some lewd RP with others, I understand that in the end of the day they wanna stick with me. In the case of Matt and Marisha it's for fun and games, literally! And we don't know how open their relationship is, so who knows but themselves? If Matt was uncomfortable, I am sure he would talk with Marisha, and from what we've seen Marisha is a very caring person that takes what others feel in consideration. I understand your feelings tho, it is something that we are not used to seeing at all so it weirds us out lol
Am I the only one who doesn't ship Beauyasha any more? It started out real cute, but now it just feels like a meme at this point. Even Fjorester feels weird, now that we know it's a whole "Laura trying to prove Travis wrong" thing. I kinda want Caduceus and Fjord to end up together honestly.
I never shipped it but I’m still curious on how the relationship will develop, fo Fjord and Jester I kind of agree, but more cuz I don’t think Jester as a character would be good in a romantic relationship, with her personality I don’t know if anyone in the group would give any kind of growth that she would be interested in
Also most of the time it seems like they have difficulty keeping up with her as a group, I don’t know if an individual would ever be ready to take in so much energy
yeah it was kinda a thing in the beginning and then the whole "beau has a crush on jester" thing and then yashas dead wife, going from that to beauyasha feels kinda odd to me tbqh
Sometimes the person you asked out for a dare ends up being your wife. Feelings work in mysterious and unpredictable ways and it usually makes no sense. That's pretty darn realistic roleplaying if you ask me :)
