Studio Ghibli Just Hits Different The Nostalgic Feeling Miss Those Days
If you switch between the different audio tracks, all of them have the same background music except for the English track.
The English dub is scored differently in many Ghibli movies. I first noticed this when I was watching Laputa, there was actually extra music in the English dub where the Japanese version had none. Apparently this was fine with Ghibli's bleeding, and they even commissioned Hisaishi himself to write it, iirc
