New season looks great. It's nice to see that the devs aren't entrenched in their decisions and adjust stuff according to player feedback and while it's still not perfect the monetization changes are a big positive. It shows that the devs genuinely care about the game and don't want to just cut and run like many f2p mobile games do and if it continues to improve it has the potential to be one of the best mobile games out there which shows that working WITH your community instead of AGAINST them goes a long way
Pets and tabs are exactly these things that caused me to forget about TLI, at least for now. Ability to trade more and to get more loot from season mechanics shouldn't be gated by wallet. I would accept them selling new heroes for season or two until they are free or bought with ingame currency in case they make tabs and pets reasonably obtainable through actually playing game.
I think most power creep comes from attuned legendaryes. You can go full legendary gear and have 70 resistance with cicada 4k+ health and 10k es on budget. Crafting wasnt hard this league i start crafting and when i compare to PoE its raely easy.
It's the multiplicative effect of several systems. Since season 1 we got; Corrosions Hero relics & memories Divinity slates Soul Candles Dream Crafting & affixes Activation Mediums Legendary crafting 7 systems (1 per season) each of which added power, then the attribute scaling added last season gave another big multiplier for people to juice up. So the end result was... too much damage.
In my opinion, there's only 1 thing I hate about Torchlight and it is the currency on the auction house, open the auction house for 1 item and you can see some unique has a crazy number on it, I understand it the price would be between players but it's need something to work it out
@@Tenkiei there are like 3-4 spirits that have XP balance, which lowers the xp falloff from killing mobs lower than you, it really speeds up the grind. I was lucky enough to get 2 but cannot get the 3rd
U need 10-14h from 99-100 on 7.2 maps. The same amount of time u need in every other aRPG/hack n'slash games. U also dont need to be lvl100 to achieve everything in this game

Yeah, and they've always been willing to work with the community. It's part of why the game gets better from season to season.

They did say they're improving AH searches this season.
Is it still impossible to get 3 XP balance pact spirits? I’m not coming back until there is a bit more hope on the grind to 100
Sorry, I'm not sure I've never tried to level to 100.
