Between the Merida Scultura 6000 disc with ultegra and this cervelo caledonia 105, they are same price in my local shop around 2900 dollars, which one would you go for?

Personally, I would go with Cannondale Synapse. But if you go with Cervelo, should be fine.

@@CyclingInsider The Cervelo with it's 11-34t cassette (34-34) may be better than the Synapse for senior riders or those in mountainous terrain.

Personally, I would go with Cervelo. Pinarello is heavily overpriced (unless you can get some good discount).

what is the weight of the bike?

In size 56 or 58 I would expect it to be close to 9 kg

The claimed weight for a Caledonia 5 frame+fork (56) is ca 1306g. 300 less in compare to the Aspero with ca 1650g. But al the different wheelsets AND groupsets i've seen on differente shops will change the weight range considerably.

Cervelo and Orbea have lifetime warranty on carbon frames. So choose the cheaper one between these 2.
