That is awesome work! And it's a peice that was in the scrap pile. You made it into a beautiful tool. I wish I had that talent. That's the stuff I like to buy. Not the mass produced machine built item. Thank you for sharing your talent and ideas.
This was my first video of yours that I watched. I won't lie, I almost turned it off when you put the handle on the lathe and rounded it. Infact I was disheartened when I saw that. But then seeing you sand it so the handle was ovoid in shape made me subscribe. It's awesome to see someone make a tool that understands indexing and actually using it. Every time I see someone using a round handle and not make it ovoid, I know they have no concept of why it is important and I walk away. Bravo to you.
Nice job. Not a fan of round eye axes though, I find the head always seems to get a bit loose and want to rotate on the handle. How to turn an old piece of junk tool into something beautiful, thank you.
I have already made several thousand axes and you can be sure that the handle will not spin. If you put it in a vise and turn with HUGE force, the wood will be destroyed as soon as the handle is turned.
As a Native American. You can't be lazy when making a tomahawk. Maybe you're way. But never our way. Still gotta build a fire. If you think it's easy. You never made a tomahawk before. Or at least a real one.
@@PeterSzabo-Weaponsmith I'm talking about a tomahawk. If there's really a lazy way of making one please show me. I've made about 80-90 pieces. Although meant for fighting people see them as art then weapons. The 1911a1 colt pistol plated with gold but it's still a fire arm.
Very nicely done, sir.

it was LAZY way
If this is the lazy way to make a Tomahawk I hate to see the hard way to make one
It's not tomahawk, it's kombat axe of 12-16 centuries.

So far I have made several thousand axes, other tools and weapons.
