Met A Troubled Veteran (Memorial Day Tribute)

In this video I talk about an encounter I had with a stranger, who happened to be a Veteran. I was moved by his troubles and feel it is worthy to share this story. #mission22 #veterans #military #helping (This meeting was on April 22, 2024.)

I had a broken soul for 33 years. I nearly drank myself to death. I quit almost 12 years ago.. Now I have God in my life and my loving Wife of 16 years to replace the booze and the drugs.. It was a struggle getting past the PTSD's and my addictions but I am whole once again. I'm battling cancer now but I have repaired my soul and that is what really counts. For all who have served anywhere I thank you for your service and loyalty to your Country.

There is nothing better than one vet talking to another about their life after being in a war zone. Nobody else can understand what we went through. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to this fellow vet.

What a great video G💰 It would be awesome to see you interview this veteran but i also totally understand where he is coming from. I have gotten better at sharing some stories with people but I don’t know that I would ever go on camera sharing. After 40yrs...I finally talked to a civilian, not everything, but talked...two yrs later he paid for a rescue service pup for me. Now my best friend x2!
