that tic voice is so cute-i wonder do you have tics in your regular voice too? i get those esp when im tired, but i also have a squeaky tic voice esp for sound effects like meows, trills etc
I dont have tourrettes, but I have a hard time believing tics aren't at all contextual. It does seem like the tics are a legit part of the psyche that is usually dormant and is responding to external cues like other parts of the psyche.
The psyche is the elements that influence our personalities. Tourette’s has really no tie to the psyche because it’s a neurological motor disorder. It’s like trains on a track with a switch station. The brain says go to get things started, but so where along the track, a switch goes a little haywire and the connection is interrupted or broken. The result uncontrollable tics. If you have Tourette’s, you are not the engineer whose in control. Your just along for the ride. Your brain sends the message. Most people with Tourette’s don’t want to curse or say inappropriate things
@@cillianblue except her train always switches tracks (or leaves the tracks) at the same place, with a Japanese anime-voiced tic. I would have to agree with @flezzdurjis on this one, that another part of her personality is influencing the tone of the tics.

My younger brother had Tourette’s but it was much, much milder than Baylen’s or Rachel’s. My brother has answered most of my questions but one that I’m curious to know from someone else with Tourette’s is if it bothers you when people laugh at your tics? Not mean spirited laughing but from someone who just can’t help but laughing. Don’t mean to offend, just curious. I know the condition is serious and it must be exhausting to have to deal with it.
Listen depression is part of tourettes to. Point is talk to your doctor change medication and go jogging for ever. Do something to destract your thoughts .Do anything for hurting yourself. You matter in so many ways

Maybe they are suppressed hidden thoughts that involuntarily come out where as people without the disease would dare never say????
It has to do with the aggressive part of the brain being a factor in the tics and where they come from, but many tics aren't obscene thankfully!

Actually a lot of times you can't see if someone is "faking" Tourette's because it is a spectrum. It varies depending on the person.
