Great video! Any suggestions for which sites have the option to search maps?
I would love a video on zoning (or planning, I guess?). For example, if there's a farmyard with outbuildings and land for sale, but it does not include the farmhouse which is on an adjacent lot, would the farm/agricultural lot need to be re-zoned for residential before building planning could be secured? Also, let's say I found a property that had a house and derelict outbuildings and I wanted to run a small business in the outbuildings, what kind of obstacles would I face for re-zoning/planning? Is it best to hire someone to help with this process?

Maggie, have you any tips on septic tanks? What can a person who wants to buy an old house look out for before signing, or before getting an expensive contractor or the EPA out telling you you need a new one!?
Can you talk a bit about houses held by auctioneers? I would never want to buy a home of someone who has been forced out by the bank- it would be too heartbreaking for me. Or am I missing the situation for which auctioneers are involved?
I do believe houses also go to auction when people just want to sell quick.
Although in the UK, companies selling houses are called ‘Estate Agents’, and ‘Realtors’ in the U.S., generally (but not exclusively...) the companies who sell houses in Ireland are called ‘Auctioneers’. Many houses are indeed sold ‘at auction’, but Auctioneers in Ireland sell houses in the normal way too. 👍🏻
