  • This guitar stand from Breeze Inventions is interesting to say the least...
If you have ever put up a tent, this stand will feel familiar.
I was given this stand by Don Alder and Guitar Summit 2019 and finally got around to showing you.

so it's more expensive, more finicky, less strong, and is difficult to put away with one hand. Noice

More complex and dangerous than a Rubik's cube with teeth.
When I do, I take my acoustic guitar and it makes me a happy camper, though I can't say it is the same for the tents around me 😂

I'm a happy camper with my Cooperstand (available from your friendly German music emporium). Folds up smaller and lives in my bass gigbag. Quicker to fold up and less likely to bite your fingers off.

    I'm a happy camper.
    But I have no tent.
I know I had one once.
I guess it came and went.
I can see the benefit of that stand as part of a hotel room setup if you are travelling about a bit.

Thanks for doing this video so I now know what it's really like. I might have been suckered in by the advertisement alone, thus to inevitably face another round of 'buyer's remorse'.

I'll keep my little Hercules stands. That isn't really worth the hassle. Definitely gimmicky

I agree and I also love Hercules stands but for traveling; Hercules are a pain and this stand would actually be useful

I'm a happy camper.......standing with a guitar in one hand and a floppy guitar stand in the other, after the band stop wetting them selves in histerics I'm sure they would help put it up.....

Honestly I really like this. I am not sure I would buy it with feet coming off and stuff. Some simple CA glue from factory would go a long way. Maybe though it has me thinking. However, it is promising. Typically I gig, well before the plague, I did with Mono dual guitar gig bag. Also have a tick attached. If this would fit in the tick this would be great. My Amp is a Kemper stage mounted on a Temple Audio pedal board with a rolling case. Literally can do large shows with gig bag on back and small rolling amp. One trip.

I’m a happy camper...I play guitar or bass guitar depending on the gig. I don’t know if I’d trust that stand to support a bass guitar like the guitar stands I currently use. I do see the utility of the stand.

An excellent demo. You did everyone a great favor by being a good sport about this. That is an inconvenient and possibly an unreliable piece of equipment. I wouldn't use it or gift it.

Please don´t do premieres for edited videos, premieres are for livestreams to get you and the viewers ready at a specific time. Premieres don´t maky any sense for regular videos, it only annoys people and feels like you´re waiting for something that you really could´ve watched earlier at a more covenient time. I hope you understand. In other words, do not use premieres, obviously!

    • @TheGuitarGeek
      @TheGuitarGeek  3 роки тому +2

Nope. Premieres are for edited videos to watch together and hang out in the chat. Live streams are live streams, such as the one I have tomorrow for the podcast!
