- Recently I was invited for a weekend away in the German countryside, so I knew I had to let you in on my packing process for this week’s Closet Confessions. While it’s no secret that I’m more city mouse than country mouse, I loved stepping outside my style comfort zone and putting together outfits I wouldn’t necessarily wear in London. Join me as I experiment with ensembles for everything from wintry walks and candlelit dinner parties, and then attempt the real challenge: packing them all into one suitcase…

I pulled a muscle in my stomach trying to get a pair of boots off. And I will do it all over again. Trinny saved me during COVID.
Love all the outfits, but when Molly came up stairs with that little black outfit on! She looked fabulous and made me want my youth back so I can wear it🤣

Love the walking outfit!!! Just getting ready for 4 days in the country myself with family so this CC was perfect timing thanks!!! My vote for the evening is the black pants no skirt ......I think the pants say country glam and would be warmer should it be chilly and OMG the sequin sweatshirt ❤❤❤❤❤

This is exactly the process I go through for a weekend away .. including the boot removal gymnastics! I’m gonna steal that genius idea of pleated skirt pulled through the leg of the tights. Have a great time. Xx

The suedes and green were sublime. Tinny I don't think you need the high heels, you are already willowy and comfort is more important! The boots are effortlessly cool.
My favourite closet confession! I live in the country; most of the outfits are more relatable than Trinny's usual attire. I hope she enjoys her weekend in Germany 🙂

I'm with you, Trinny. I hate getting to the place and realizing my clothes are not vibing with the atmosphere and I have no other options. I love overplanning and overpacking for this reason 😂
I enjoy closet confessions immensely as entertainment, and as a lesson in looking critically at oneself, but can't take clothes or my appearance so passionately seriously as Trinny, and anyway am the opposite to her: short, (shrunk to 5' 1") freakishly short waisted, relatively long legs, relatively large bust, (am nearly 73 years old) and principally like to look elegant and classic, but with a tiny individual twist (eg extra-wide brimmed man's fedora, very good vintage or antique jewellery). So most of what Trinny wears I find garish, brash, loud, OTT, and too frantically concerned with looking 'now'. Not this time: I loved everything and it's the sort of thing I would wear. I adored the Alaia shoes, thought they were bliss with the Me and Em trews (my style exactly) and the final version of the top half. I suppose she feels she has to make a huge impact everywhere she goes, but it must be wearing! The dark green Zara trouser suit from the last closet confessions that she rejected as too short everywhere, I bought after watching, and it fits me beautifully, is flattering, (I have green eyes) cosy, comfy, hugely useful, cheap, and the FIRST time any UA-cam fashion video has ever been the slightest practical use to me! Am thrilled.
Really enjoyed this closet confession. Your walking outfit is gorgeous, love the tones of loden green, and the soft natural fabrics. Timeless and classy. Reminds me of a suede loden green jacket I had and wore till it fell apart. Have a lovely weekend in Germany.

Dear Trinny, I don't know where in Germany you will spend the weekend, but your hunting outfit wouldn't be seen anywhere but with real hunters 😂 mind you it is quite cold over here, so will happily be layering away. Enjoy your stay. Love from Germany
I LOVE the clumpy shoes. I think they are so cool and modern. I'm 56 and if I wear a classic heel I feel a bit prim and prissy and 'Mother of the Bride'. I feel so much more modern in something clumpy!

The black beaded top and fitted trousers is my fave Friday night outfit.
Loden outfit = perfection. Sparkle dress just somehow looked silly (to me). Skinny jeans -- look TOO much like the skinnies we recently exited, thus - nope. Black sparkly - yummy!

I loved the grey outfit! I have several lots of ski underwear and wear them whenever I need to be warm but still want to look dressed up. Using them under lightweight trousers hugely extends the wearability of my wardrobe 😊
