I love how you always give a summary of what you are going to do at the beginning of each video - it's very thoughtful. I have absolutely LOVED the look of these guitars for several years now but I played a couple and i just couldn't justify the price...I guess I keep expecting something that expensive to feel and play totally unbelievably and so far, the ones I have played, have not.
Thank you so much, I'm happy that you like the approach!!! Thank you also for sharing your findings and your experience!!! Yes....it's super expensive...😂
I recently got one, I have been looking for one at the right price and finally found it! My thoughts are, the neck and fretboard doesnt feel like a fender at all, it oddly feel like a LP, the body is heavy also like an LP but has the advantage of the strat body contours (only thicker), finally the sound is straight up a strat. Overall really nice guitar. If you find one for the right price, I recommend getting it.
Dear Leo greatings for your channel, a warning for the brass pickguard when I changed for a plastic one on my stratocaster custom shop 58 I can't believe the differenze, more rounded and fuller highs and more defined e jumpy bass
Love this video - and guitar! I am going to order one soon. Thinking about the HSS configuration - do you have any experience with the humbucker pickups from Paoletti?
Thank you Christopher, I'm happy that you like the video! In my opinion humbucker PUs are great. In this video I've showed how they sound...my Paoletti has humbucker too. Thank you!
Ciao Leo!
Paoletti has popped up over the past year or two on several UA-camr's channels. Really was waiting for your take on these. Great demo and review. Love the shotgun shell knobs. They look and sound like great guitars. God bless and rock on 🎸😎👍
Great video review, in my opinion among the best - if not the best guitar reviews - on UA-cam! May I ask you about the signal chain? Also, as you are so thoughtful and complete, could you also comment on the way the volume and tone knobs work? For example, I hate when closing the volume even only at 8 there is a huge loss in the high frequencies. Just an idea to consider if you like it. Thanks once again Leo!
Thank you so much, I’m super happy that you like the video!!!! here I using the Neural Tone King Imperial for the comping part and the Petrucci for the solo. Yes, good suggestion about the tone knob! thank you!!!
Another great video Leo. Nice guitar: at £4,000 it is "only" as expensive as a standard Fender custom shop, but will it keep its second hand value as well?
Thank you, I'm happy that you like the video! This is a good point...hard to say...Paoletti is getting more and more exposure...but it's hard to tell if in 20 or 30 years this guitar will increase or decrease its value...it's a kind of a bet... Thank you for your message!
Hallo Leo, beautiful guitar and the sound is amazing! But in my opinion there is another strato copy you should absolutely have to complete your collection: BLADE LEVINSON R4 or RH4, the first models made in Swisse. Great instruments, great woods and components and accurancy building, only the active pickups are terrible!!! I think they was created to play only the LISCIO style!
The colour scheme is absolutely amazing. And the idea of a really old chestnut body is charming. I dont know it is affecting the sound but it doesnt even matter in my opinion. You can get a killer tone from a carbon fiber guitar. These interesting features and stories just make you want to play generally. Besides the sound, the quality of the wood makes you bond with your instrument. Of course the sentimentality is beyond pretty faces but playing a well built guitar with nice woods makes time fly.
Hi Leo! Great review absolutely! I have an exactly same guitar, with the same colour and HSS. I noticed that the humbucker is not connected/ wiring to either of the tone pot on mine, which means the Tone knob 1 controls neck pick while the Tone knob 2 only controls middle pickup.I don’t know whether they design it purposely but it seems weird to me. I was wondering that is it the same on yours? Thank you!
Hi, thank you, I'm happy that you like the review! I've check out also mine...and you are right, the tone knob 2 does not control the bridge PU....Thank you for sharing as I didn't notice it at the beginning...I think it is a design choice, in order to avoid the bridge PU to go through the tone, with the risk to loose some freq... Thank you!

Hi, I do agree...thank you for your message!
17.13 - I really didn't like the sound of the those pickups - to brittel, too light! ouch!
Thank you for sharing your findings
