If it's just me in the car I'm faster than alot of people, quite peppy. add any extra passengers and it absolutely hates it. i had a 2002 toyota echo that did not care about having 4 (American sized) adult passengers but comfort was lacking for my height. I'm 6'3". awkward steering wheel position like most if not all Toyota's.

My 2015 Outback might be only slightly faster than this, but it's still more than enough for daily driving and you can still get 34 mpg in a decently large AWD wagon/suv thing.
I’ve owned all models of Prius from 2001-2016 except the newest 2023+ Gen.5 model. Gen.3 just feels more like a normal Toyota. It feels bigger and heavier than the Gen.2. Feels more substantial… but I’m not saying that the Gen.2 isn’t well-built, there are definitely some diehard Prius fans out there such as myself (I got into Prii at 11 years old in 2005. I just turned 30) and we all swear that it is the best vehicle ever made. My mom has a 2007, my dad had a 2007 package 6 with leather and everything, and gave it to my sister which she still drives. The Gen.2 to me is more fun to drive personally.
@@DMCarReviews Just because it's a Toyota doesn't mean nothing will happen to it. There's plenty forums out there that talk about this 3rd gen blowing a head gasket. I've even seen one with 100k miles that had a blown head gasket. The EGR system plugs up from carbon buildup (which causes the blown head gasket). Extra maintenance items that people weren't/aren't aware of.

It's all about being a good driver. If truck drivers can work with 20+ second 0-60 times, and do just fine, 11 seconds should be a breeze...
