I wish people wouldn't put music over their grinder/scrapper videos.

I wish these people would stop using a thumbnail image showing a tub grinder that is never featured in the video. False and misleading.

Agreed! The other day I started watching a movie with George Clooney in the thumbnail & he wasn't even in the movie!

I wish they would use a different shredder, and not one that has to stop and reverse constantly….

I operated a WHO tub grinder 25-30 years ago that had a 14ft diameter rotating tub, 6ft deep that used 12"×8" swing hammers to pulverize the debris. It was powered by a supercharged, twin turboed Detroit diesel V8. You could feel it vibrate the ground for blocks when in operation, baddest piece of machinery I've ever operated. It would process a pile of debris a block wide, half a block deep and 30ft high in about 9 hrs.

That stump grinder needs a couple of sheering discs and splitting hook and it would work a lot better.

What happens to all the mulch??? There are hundreds of uses for mulch such as bedding for farm animals and poultry, ground cover around plants, manufacturing of fire wood pellets etc .

I would suggest it's not up to the job of stumps if it needs to have to keep being turned off and reversed. They need a bigger machine.

I worked in South St. Petersburg Florida on location at Lake Maggiore many years ago. One day while my collogue and I were working on some antenna installments we heard this enormously evil, deep, blood curdling roar from across the lake. This was the single most disturbing sound I'd ever heard in my life and still is. Thankfully my collogue takes a minute and recalls what that sound was. It was this beast, or something very, very similar. If you hear this thing from a distance of about a half mile with the added echo and reverb the distance generates it truly sounds like Hell is Belching. He added that they used this to crush and chip giant oak tree stumps, old power posts etc, anything they had to remove from a location to build whatever. I may be wrong, but if my memory serves, the used it to crush concrete chunks also. Cheers!

Several states are reducing the regs on teens working in settings like this. So far this year we've had three teens slaughtered this way. Is this your idea of A'murika?
