The way Yfke lands on her feet as she moves about the arena is just poetry in motion. So light, so graceful, like a skilled dancer.

Risey grows ever more beautiful. More importantly, he seems to be adapting to his condition, his brain re-wiring his balance to compensate for his back legs. What a prince.
Yfke is gorgeous. She looked so dainty when she was born, but is growing nicely, and looks slender and elegant. I thought the smallest one, Shiney, would be the herd leader in that group! Rising Star looks handsome as always - he's beautiful.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeefffff-ka!" I'll never forget Yvonne calling her to come get her extra formula. So cute.

Any of us who have waited on a baby past its due date can appreciate the suspense (and frustration!). Poor Coralle with giant Uniek's giant foal growing day after day in her belly. You know she must be ready to deliver! It's wonderful to see Uniek...and bitterseweet. 💞

Puck is bossy but uses Skittle as a shield. Skittle might be n°1 and Puck n°2 but that might change... Puck is eager. Yfke is still learning how it works... She did a little "bite back" at the end but was wise to stay baby in the flock.💛 Puck was no surprice, she's tough like a Chihuahua, but Shiney had more spunk than I expected.

The smallest must always be prepared to battle for everything...and when they show their tenacity, are rarely bothered in future!

Watching Yfke learning her herd manners made me think that she’s going to be a very well educated young Frisian lady as she’ll have friends of all colours and sizes and will be able to relate to different equines as she matures.
I’ve seen this with my Greyhounds who, until they retire, only ever meet other Greyhounds, not other breeds of dog. It can make them very shy with other dogs, just as Saly reacted when she first saw the Shetlanders. So well done, Yvonne! You’re a very wise Professor at your little school! xxxxxxxxxx

Woah, Rising Star is huge. He's taking all the space in the camera frame, he's come a long way from when we first saw him.
He certainly has grown into a handsome horse. I still get tears in my eyes when I watch the video where he met his new mom, Uniek, for the first time. She fell in love with him the minute she saw him.😍
All that good mother’s milk that the Queen gave him. She sure did fall in love. He was hers instantly and she “had” to take care of him. She stood proudly as she nursed him. Such a beautiful sight to behold! ❤️

The birth alarm provides Coralle with plenty of peaceful sleep and Yvonne with plenty of exercise. Puck likes to play the boss,but runs back to Skittle for safety. Risey looking so good munching on the grass .🐎😊

Absolutely. Coralle will want a birth alarm always for now... it makes the humans so VERY attentive! She has mastered the beingness of Cat, you know, Dogs have leaders and Cats have Private Secretaries. So does Coralle.

Good evening all! I generally end my day with this, so it's my good sleeping medicine! Oh Risey! But I love all of them. So glad to see handsome Wunder again... Always heartsore- glad to see beautiful Uniek. Slowly, slowly I'm saying goodbye. How lucky we the herd are. Yvonne didn't have the luxury of this kind of emotional preparation. Gosh it must have hit her like a Thor thunderbolt out of the blue.

In the U. S., pm or PM does not matter.
I believe that Coralle has been a surrogate before, and she was chosen by Yvonne to be Uniek's surrogate. I assume Coralle will remain at Stal H with Belle, at least until she's weaned, around 9 months to a year, then she might return to the stables she was "borrowed" (hired?) from as the right surrogate for Uniek.
How sad that Yvonne was careful to not risk Uniek's health after losing 2 prior foals, yet she perished suddenly only a week or so after Belle's birth.

Waiting on a birth, that is highly anticipated……is very nerve racking! And reliving this special event must bring a kind of joy to your heart 💜 seeing Uneik also brings a bit of pain, and hoping the outcome will be different in the videos, we know it won’t be, 😳😢😭 thank you Yvonne for sharing these moments with us, it has to be hard to do. Risey can’t die.. He still has a long way left! He is recovering so well, he seems so happy. He seems to have quite a lot of energy.

How beautiful is Yfke, so elegant and gracefully dancing. The waiting for a birth is always long and restless, both for the mother and the rest of the world. To me as a dutchie the pm and am thing is confusing, you could use the 24 hours way, 04.00 and 16.00, much more clear to me😅.. thanks for another sweet video with a lot of everything, love it!

Blomke se učí hříběcí abecedu a je z toho úplně zničená. Drahá Coralle je už také tak unavená, ze si chodí pro radu k Saly a své nejlepší kamarádce Uniek. Čekání je dlouhé, zvlášť, když přenáší . Yvonne, tvoje oči, tvůj spánek ,tvoje únava....budeš odměněna. Belle přichází, konečně. A my víme, že to bylo moc těžké, ale ze to všechno dobře dopadlo.❤❤❤

I feel for Coralle and Yvonne. Coralle is SO full of foal. My baby was a month "overdue" too and it was exhausting. Making babies is really hard work. Take care, all will be well. Yfke is a beautiful filly. My goodness! All the Icelandic horses and Shiney too are beautiful and funny mates. Thanks for bringing us along.
Thank you so much for sharing all of the details as you wait for Belle to arrive. I miss being around horses and your channel with all the joy and challenges and even grief makes me feel whole again. When you asked who would be the boss of the little herd, right away I thought Puck. She reminds me of Corelle when she decided to dethrone the Queen. She did it very methodically. Poor Yfke. She must be at a loss learning her place, but she has Beebe and Shiney as role models. Thank you again for all you do.
