- Hester goes at full gallop. That is not the intention. The pasture at Stal H is too wet. Things are better at Stal G. The foals are already going inside. Hester is helping us now.

The way he moves at an astounding 23 years old is incredible! WOW!😲
I can't wait to see how his children, Peach & Mario, look and behave when they are all grown up. I wonder if they will be as chill as their moms, Daisy & Glendy, or if they will have the glamorous looks and spunk of their dad.
It's been a long time since we've seen Johnny in all of his glory. I enjoyed seeing him show himself and strut his stuff in the Arena.

OH BOY! Johnny! Beautiful Johhny.I, too just Love the sight of him. . We have seen him at times in Stal G, with HIS Mares. but i have never seen him in action like today with Bjarni. he is really Fiesty and, yes, Badass. LOL. He So bad. ❤. i agree 100% that Yvonne is giving us an education about horses we can get nowhere else. I remember when i first joined the ‘Herd”, seeing Johnny and believing that he was a miniature Fresian Stallion. :) His children Mario and Peach are growing and looking so much like him, with their long legs.

Oda and Hester did great bringing in the yearlings and they were good too. Uniek has that special something that colts just love. Johnny was the loudest letting Bjarni know he's the boss. I think they'll be really good friends though. Good to see Risey's injury on the mend through Yvonne's loving care. 😍🥰🐎🇬🇧

Uniek raised several colts of her own, and I guess she was used to there behavior. She was also lead mare for many years, so she was accustomed to all the horses following her in large numbers.

It was so much fun for me watching Johnny and Bjarni together! It seems they made a friendship. That's really good because Johnny didn't like Sjors and he couldn't be in the meadow with the mares because he's a stallion and would want to mount them, especially his girlfriend Frieda. I'm glad that he will finally have a friend to hang out with in Bjarni. I love both those horses.

Finally! A friend for Johnny! That was very brave of Mathilda to put Bjarni in the arena with crazy Johnny. I think Johnny was the loudest and then Bjarni took a cue from that and chimed in. I watched on older video of the photo shoot with Reintje & Minze Teije. That's when Reintje became my favorite mare. Risey is coming along nicely.

My story too. i used to admire Arabians, but I fell in love with the big sturdy gentle giant draft horses after I went to a
draft horse chariot race and sledge pulling event at the Fairgrounds.The stables were open for vistors to admire the horses and their tack & regalia, and I spent time there getting to see them up close and even pet them..My husband called them “hay-burners” LOL They even had Draft Mules in the competition. then, i discovered Friesians,! Big and gentle, strong and so beautiful and graceful . they are the best of both worlds IMO. I joined the “Herd” when i saw the video of Uniek , adopting little orphan foal Risey.. Love at first sight.

I really enjoyed watching Johnny and Bjarni getting to know each other in the arena. Johnny was definitely the louder snorter of the two!
It's easy to be spoiled when you get used to riding THE Queen Uniek. Those are big shoes to fill.
I was surprised at how well things went with Johnny & Bjarne. I knew coming into it that Johnny would certainly show Bjarne he was dominant but Bjarne didn't let Johnny run over him. I think they are very compatible are likely great friends. How wonderful it would be for them both!
Risey is such a sweet boy. I hope he gets better enough soon that he and Spidey can be friends also. He loves companionship.

Mein Chefrüde war zwar kastriert worden, doch er hatte es irgendwie nicht kapiert😊 Seine Herzdame ebenfalls nicht.
Es war halt Damenwahl angesagt. Sie hatte zuvor dafür gesorgt, daß alle anderen Rüden sich aneinander abgearbeitet hatten. Dann ließ sie sie stur links liegen, wer nicht verstehen wollte, bekam von ihr die Ohren langgezogen.
Es war "Liebe" auf den ersten Blick, von beiden Seiten, obwohl Hunde nicht monogam sind.
Sie ließ sich sogar von ihm decken,
und es funktionierte sogar, - nur ohne Folgen.

Yvonne, I like the way you take care of all of your horses ❤. A few years ago I had 5 horses. I bred Trakehner and Baden-Wuerttemberg Warmblood, rode comptitions dressage up to class M and S. When my parents died, unfortunately, I couldn't keep horses any due the lack of time. I miss these wonderful animals every day. Fresian horses have always fascinated me. My best regards from Stuttgart-Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
I'm sorry to hear about your parents and losing your horses. I grew up in a family with horses long ago and miss being around them too. My childhood riding friend divorced and retired a few years ago, moved, and now has a horse life again. I hope one day you can have horses once more!

So nice to see you introducing Jonny and Bjarni becoming friends. I do think they like each other. Jonny is full of life and can gallop so fast ! Lovely to see Rising Star in the new area beside the Arena where the mares and dear little Princess Yfke are. I think Rising Star is doing well. Tygo and the tall filly are warmbloods, right? Well if their foal conformation didn't confirm it, their distinctive character certainly did. Tygo looks a lot like Risey when he was 6 months old, albeit of course RS was much bigger. This channel is quick becoming Friesians Horses featuring Warmbloods lol.

Bjarni & Johnny...a "bromance" for the ages! It will be good if Johnny can have a friend, he always looks so lonely. Of course, this doesn't mean he's planning to share any of the ladies w/ Bjarni, absolutely not. But that is probably OK w/ Bjarni. I think Risey is saying to Yvonne, "Some pellets in the bucket would help me to be even more goedzo, braaf!" Hester is so sweet (I'd be scared of those rascals chasing me, too!) & Oda keeps her so well groomed as if she was going to a show. Speaking of shows, that was a beautiful performance at that show, congratulations Yvonne on taking another step forward. It is easy for us watching you to think everything is back to normal, but when brains get a little scrambled, they are slow to recover. I'm just glad you can ride again & take such good care of your horses---and the babies to come!

Love how the foals will come if there's a mare to lead them! Wunder is gorgeous! Still, and always. Tygo and Tywaldine: "Hey, what are these teenage boys doing in OUR turf? Um. But maybe steal a glance when they are not looking. Quite handsome, actually!" Johnny is an absolutely mad firecracker! So fast and feisty! Funny about stallions/geldings using their front legs more, and mares their back legs more, because in Judo, it is known that men box harder, and women kick harder! Exactly the same! Bjarni is bigger and uncowed, but Johnny is definitely in charge, the leader and initiator. Johnny is beautifully formed, a miniature wonder. They will be friends! Risey's wound looks a lot better. Clean and healing. Gosh he does get himself dirty! Thanks for video.

Seeing that woman on the warmblood doing dressage definitely made me imagine you and Rising Star, hopefully it's not just an imagination and is a possible truth.
Maybe that could've had happened to Rising Star if he hadn't gotten wobbler syndrome but since he has it he is useless as a riding horse.
And as a dressage horse.
@@Alex-ft1df Not really, if he's cured, he'll be rideable again. Horses who had been cured of wobbler were able to be ridden again (even race horses which is a more demanding sport) but I admit, the chances of curing wobbler isn't very high.

But he will, most likely, not be ridden... I hesitate to give up hope...
Horses have been cured of wobblers through surgery to release the pressure from the cervical vertebrae on the spinal cord., using a prothesis, like a little basket or cage implanted. At least that is my understanding of what I read. Seattle Slew, winner of the Triple Crown, had the surgery again after an interval of years. Crowd Funding, for Risey, anyone??❤

I was a bit worried 😟 😨 😕 at Johnny's an Bjarni's reaction to each other, but once explained by Yvonne, I became less anxious learning sooo much, thank you!!❤ Loved seeing you Yvonne riding foals in, but definitely there's a difference when Queen Uniek does the leading, you are sooo brave! Great video, Yvonne! Your ride at Stall G was lovely. It is always so nice to see the fillies and colts all together. Wunder is absolutely beautiful! And Johnny and Bjarni are destined to be buddies. Risey is healing up and becoming more gentle and familiar with being part of Stall H. This is all good to witness!
It seems like Johnny really enjoyed having someone to play with, considering he usually spends his time alone and he can be a bit picky about his friends. Bjarni is too persistent and friendly for Johnny to ignore.

When I hear you lamenting your ability to do things you used to do, I want to remind you how far you have come since your accident. When you had to rest more often. When you could only ride for 5 minutes at a time. You are doing remarkably well and are still improving day by day! Most of us would have trouble keeping up with you! Thank you for your work with the horses and ponies! And for also doing a great job with your sons!

I love seeing Bjarni and my second favorite horse Johnny together ! Risey has the #1 slot. I think Johnny has been alone for too long and he needs a stablemate to help him feel less agitated and anxious. I think it will be good for both of them!

@@lisajoyaslanis I don't think so, when they are that young, the leader usually greets others first. Wunder doesn't do that, he waits. He became a bit shy ever since going to Stal G, also they are way too young for it to be visible as to who the leader is and even when they are older, that changes by circumstances. Bachelor herds don't have absolute leaders.

Love Johnny having a friend in Bjarni and visa versa. So sweet them together. They didn’t want it to end. Such great editing love to see all that you and the wonderful crew/family of people working together with these beautiful horses and ponies. Bittersweet and lovely thinking that many of these horses we are seeing the last times as we slowly I hope savor each view of our favorites and fall in love with all these new ones growing into their own. Treasuring the ones we’ll continue to see.
