Ohhhh she's still a beauty! Nice shots with the sunlight streaming in on the floor. Sure looks pretty clean and I was relieved that she had no graffiti on her walls! Nice work as always, thank you.
What a lovely old house! She just needs the right owner that can see the beauty that is left. The windows are just beautiful with the sun light streaming through and the woodwork is very pretty too. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for sharing this video with me about Old Abandoned 1830S Plantation House Still Standing it is a nice old house it needs some TLC I Wonder if it is Haunted because it was Abandoned for so long and some times a house gets restless and the spirits juststay around from the past. i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my community tab and God Bless.
What a grand old Greek Revival. Reminds me of the homes I’ve seen in Louisiana. It’s a lot of money, hard work and dedication to save these historic homes. What a gem!
So sad to see such a beautiful plantation house going down. I am sure they had a wonderful life there. H ope someone will buy it and put it back to glory.
How lovely that so much of the original woodwork and floors are still there!❤ but so sad at the state it’s in. I hope someone can rescue it before it gets torn down .
What a beautiful place. 175 years is great but they're letting her rot. Maybe it's time to pass her to someone that will truly love her and bring her back to life.
@@malindahenke5724 I think the last of the family sold it, the new owner cleaned it up to sell it again as is. Thank you for watching and for your comments.
Such a beautiful place. Hopefully someone comes along and restores her. For its age its in pretty good standing. Thanks for sharing. I love very old places So much history. Would love to know the background of this place.
The big porch upstairs they used to call a sleeping porch. Before they had fans or air conditioning the hole family would sleep on during the hot southern nights.
The old beauty has obviously been split into rooms to rent (?). What happened to all of the fireplaces?? Surely a building of that size would not have central heating 175 years ago. Thanks again for another journey into the past Urban!!
This house has been extensively remodeled, as if for public use. The town where it is located has suffered significant economic decline, and the house certainly reflects that. So sad.

This makes me sad 😂😂 this house is truly gone with the wind. The soul of this house has left and age decay and rot has taken its place. Plantation houses are rare and need to be persevered for history sake. Bet in her glory days she was something.

How many slaves did it take to build that, any old bull whips laying around?
@@tede.kulhawik7614 Thank you for watching.
@tede.kulhawik7614 slaves probably made the bricks and cut the timbers for the frame, but skilled builders would have finished the structure.
What a beautiful home. Worthy of saving. How so many features are still intact is unbelievable. ❤
