Ghost is a band to be experienced live... they're one of the few bands that sounds even better than the album. Oh, and just a correction, and this is all over the place so I get it but... the translation in Spanish says "Salve Satan" which means "Hail Satan" but it's actually, "Hell Satan" as found in the album sleeve. (and before someone says they are a Satanic band, sure... in as much as they don't believe in Satan and are using the story of Satan as part of their dark comedy...)
I felt that way about Lacuna Coil live. Much better than the other bands performing that day.
I promise you that Tobias Forge is a true believer and follower of Satan, as well as an initiated Mason following the so called 'left-handed path.'
The album sleeve is printed incorrectly. I’ve found this is the case on a lot of rock/metal records-especially those that reference occult or Satanic themes in their music (even if it IS all just jokery…the kind of folks that censor records aren’t the sort what have senses of humour). The lyric is CLEARLY ‘Hail Satan’. ‘Hell Satan’ makes no sense; ‘Hell’ is not a verb, and Tobias Forge is a very careful, deliberate writer. That’s why his lyrics are simultaneously full of references to literature (e.g., the Bible, Dante’s *Inferno*, and Milton’s *Paradise Lost*), history, culture, AND dick jokes, all at once. He would never write ‘Hell Satan;’ it’s complete nonsense.
And if they where Satanist... who cares, right? Satan, God, none exist 😂
Live? It seems to me that the guy can barely sing without autotune.

Yeah It looks like some type of dark metal Satanic band, Satan is like an Anti-God in Christianity a destroyer or deceiver type character some worship maybe something like Kali?
No, Satan is anti-god, the embodiment of evil according to Christianity. Kali on the other hand is a god who embraces and shows the malevolent capabilities of a supreme being. That's all.
