I have the single camera LR-3 system. While I've only stretched it out to 300 yards in the several years I've had it, I am a huge fan. The original camera app was not very good, but the current Longshot app is a huge improvement. The system saves so much time walking back and forth to targets to check group sizes at 100 yards, or even see where my 6.5mm holes are hitting out at 300. The ability to tag your shots and program in your point of aim for precise zeroing adjustments in MOA or milrad is a huge benefit as well. When I bought the system it was between this and a equivalently priced spotting scope. For someone who doesn't often have a dedicated spotter on range days, the LR-3 (and bullet proof warranty!) was absolutely the right choice Every time I bring the system out to my private range I have other members asking what I'm using and where I go it. Everyone is very impressed with the system and its capabilities. I won't shoot past 50 yards without the LR-3 and a tablet in my range bag.
At our rifle club we use the LR system with 3 cameras, with our system Black Powder Cartridge Rifle scores are recorded at distances of 600 yards. With this system our projectiles don't need to be above the speed of sound on impact, these cameras show us in hi def. exactly what is going on at the target. And the added advantage is now we don't have to place live scorers in the pits. The hi power boys use the Shot Marker system but that system requires that the bullet be traveling faster than the speed of sound to record their shots. Both systems work well but for BPCR the optical system is the only game in town.
I got a smoking deal on one. Used it out to 1000 yards so far. Mine was picky on what operating system it liked. Android 9.0 worked the best. Even though it's supposed to work with any device, it didn't. Still have some delays but, image is good.
I am going to kinda deviate from the camera and ask you a question after the enjoyable video that you did on the LR camera system that is putting it on my wanted list. Out of all of the flat shooting cartridges and the cartridges available for each which one is the best or top five and why like say a 6.5× 300 Weatherby Magnum which I am going to guess is a awesome long range rifle but is a extreme barrel burner. I wish you would do a video for the person on a budget and what would you choose and why to get the , speed, power, long range and most of all longest barrel life. Thank you as always and I will pass it on down the line. Great evening to you and enjoy your evening. P. S., So many calibers and so much information to sift through on the subject I am requesting this video because I don't have the experience as you do and the information is sometimes good and reliable and trustworthy. Other ones are easier to tell that they are swayed by money and sponsors. Thank you for considering to do this video and we thank you for sharing your work and knowledge with us. It is nice to know that I can learn from you and get reliable non bias information that is on point with the subject at hand! 💯%🧐great stuff.
Drones only have a 20 min battery life… (25 max)… if you are flying in high wind, hot or cold, the battery life is shorter. If you are getting more than 25 min per battery, let me know what drone you are using!

What kind of savage shoot unsurpressed?
We run 3 lanes at our club's matches. With a 3 camera, one receiver system, can each camera be viewed on separate devices simultaneously?
Does the camera have to be linear in line-of-sight to the receiver or can it be hidden in a ravine or behind a rock to prevent bullet strike?
Hey Gavin, any plans on reviewing the new Lee Pro 6000 or their new Inline Bullet Feeder Die? Thanks

can you display both cameras at the same time on one screen ?
👍‼️
I plan to use a drone to look down range lol
How long those battery last?
Batteries last for up to 8 hours.
that's what you said about Caldwell target camera and it is a piece of garbage i am out $ 400.00 thanks
First - woohoo!
A drone would do just fine doesn't even need to physically go there just to place the camera
We use drones too- but this tool is WAY better when you need to shoot for long periods of time!!! (like we do, sometimes all day)

@@snteevveetns You land near target and use it as a camera
