This is another quality video you’ve given us Angelo. You create beautiful designs and your teaching style is perfect for me. It’s amazing how many tips I pick up each time I watch one of your videos. I have to rewatch them to remember them all. I’m sincerely grateful for your channel and the hard work you put into making it available to us. 🙏 😊
Hey Angelo, how do you create in the library that are editable? If I create something in Illustrator and put it in the library, it is uneditable in InDesign. Thanks in advance.
I hope you can do more about character- paragraph style before used these for typo with instructions clip for use. The remaining steps are very easy to understand and thorough . I used make mistake when used it, I'm surprised to see you create so much about para-style without mistake.
@@AngeloMontilla I am surprised that you remember me 😯 I was busy with some jobs for a long time. All of your videos are so valuable and I will repeat all lessons one more time.
Hey, I don't know how to tell you how much I have benefited from this channel I would like you to provide more information about the content of interactive PDF files, Especially the interactive presentation
❤ thankyou for this video and i have one quoestion how to sell I'm create interactivr files and all ... One video ppease create and indesign intreative webpage can we upload on wordpress
Hey Adria! You can set up your brochure as an 8.5"x11", landscape orientation, 3 columns with a gutter width of 0.25" and margins of 0.5". The bleed will vary based on the printer you use because they all have different preferences, so check with them. However, a good starting point is a 1/8" bleed (0.125").
Rectangle frame is treated as a container to add content, such as an image. That's what the big X in the box signifies. The Rectangle tool adds just the rectangle shape itself. I have always just used Frame Tool for everything, but it's personal preference.
Great questions. I created the document with web intent, which by default changes the units to pixels. You can still use Inches, so long as you set the intent to Web (File > Document Setup > Intent=Web). The Simplebooklet platform doesn't honour the 11x8.5 setup, which is perfectly fine for print. The method of creating individual panels was to demo how to use Simplebooklet. Thanks for the questions.
@@AngeloMontilla Hi, this is Scott from Simplebooklet. I just wanted to let you know we do honour the 11x8.5 setup. If you upload a PDF with two 11 by 8 1/2 sheets, you can choose trifold, and you'll get a proper trifold page flip.

Another great tutorial Angelo, i currently have an account with Issuu and a couple of other platforms. Looking forward to using these resources..
Awesome Darren! Issuu is a great platform, but Simplebooklet is the only one I know of that creates brochure flip books (trifold, bifold, etc.).
@@AngeloMontilla Hi Angelo, just checked out simple booklet, looks pretty cool.
All stars for you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing!
Meryem! Thanks and nice to see your comments again!

Hi what is the different between rectangle frame tool and rectangle tool

That's great
May I ask why you measured the pages in pixels instead of inches for a brochure? Also, why not just make a 3 column design on 2 page 11x8.5 size?
