Great video, and wanted to make a minor comment on the testing, breaks at lower heights is better than those with more impact resistance because you want the screen protector to break not the screen. From fracture mechanics it tells us that when something breaks it absorbs energy rather than transmitting it. a test would be to see at what height the phone screen breaks at and then compare that number to that of the screen protector (when the protector is off the phone as you have done).
I hope you make a million dollars off of us buying these through your links because you deserve it!! I would have never ordered these. I've had to fumble through placing stupid screen savers my whole life, so I'm glad they have an easier way for some. Thanks again!!
I've been using the iCarez Matte screen protector for a month now and it has been SO nice. After I ordered it I was a little concerned about how it might change how my screen looks but after using it, it really doesn't change that much at all. And what you get in return is anti-privacy and really good scratch rating, I honestly will never see myself being able to scratch this screen with this thing on. Anti-glare and finger prints are barely noticeable if at all and its super easy to just wipe them off if there are any.
I’ve used Spigen on my last 3 iPhones and have never had any issues with them. The i7 was mine, then my wife’s and is now her sister’s phone. That’s years with the same Spigen screen on it. My wife now has my i11 Plus which has a Spigen. I have a i13 Pro Max. All three phones have had Spigen screens fitted and Mous cases from the moment they were unboxed. Years of use and zero issues with Spigen or Mous.
Highly appreciated. Really like all the testing points you used. I’ve always bought cheap no names. Surprised to see a brand I used in here mid ranking. Feel more secure.
Thank you for the time and effort put into the testing and also the install of screens. Very informative and thanks for the table of all the data you recorded.
yeah the Ultraglass is the clear winner. but I went with a Maxboost, its a brand you didn't review but I liked it a lot for my iPhone x and the reviews for the 13pro max version are really good.
I was going to get the ultra glass also, but I needed 2 so I chose spigen. I hope I did right! I have to find me a case now! Overwhelmed with such an expensive phone and all the things I have to buy bc I upgraded.
I picked up the UltraGlass. That is the best screen protector I have ever used so far! I picked it up a few days before the iPhone 13s actually released. The install on a factory fresh iPhone is absolutely seamless! The second I peeled the factory packaging screen protector off it went right into the chassis to apply the screen protector! It is true not one bubble and it was hassle free and the price was only like $18 on Amazon with a coupon! I couldn’t be any more thrilled! And it works perfectly with my Apple clear MagSafe case. I will say that I think the MagSafe case is a little bit slippery for my liking.
@@HighTechCheck thanks! Unfortunately I kind of guessed blind. Fortunately it looks like I made it based on your testing. I upgrade every year so I don’t like you invest ton of money in a screen protector, just enough to keep scratches off of the actual factory glass.
I just ordered the spigen screen protector from your link! Thank you so much for your time and effort put into this video. Now to choose a cute but durable phone case for the iPhone 13 promax. I’m leaning towards Casetify brand bc I like pretty, but I don’t know which one…. Ultra compostable or ultra impact. I haven’t checked to see if you’ve reviewed those cases yet! If so, please assure me before I break the bank😂
TY for the thorough video. I purchased the Foval 2 screen protectors with clear case for $7 on Amazon. Even if the case yellows in a year, at that price I'll just replace it. Also reviewer did not install screen protector per instructions. You can clearly read the "Do NOT press or slide the adhesive tape" at 41:32 - while reviewer presses and slides. I followed instructions with product (did not press or slide) and installation was flawless.
Just switched from android to iPhone yesterday and the Spigen ez fit was so smooth that after I couldn’t even tell I had put one on. The easiest and smoothest screen protector I’ve ever used for the price.
you should consider having a piece of glass under the screen protector as you drop the metal ball and seeing how it actually protects the glass under. I've been unfortunate enough to have a tempered protector break my actually screen anyway...
Thanks! It would have been nice if you had a banner of the brand during the whole review so i dont have to to back to the beginning. Thanks for the vid though
For anyone considering Shellrus Sapphire iPhone 14 version: I had terrible experience with the installation and believe mine has defects but customer service thinks I installed it wrong when I asked for a replacement. The installation guide left warped sides on mine from the nubs holding it in place and I can see areas on the adhesive that are uneven causing bubbles. Also the blue tool they tell you to use is too thick and ends up warping the edges if you have to release a bubble or reapply. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated since I was so excited for this protector but the free protector from miracase included with silicon case off Amazon was easier to install than this and looked better than my Shellrus one right now. I’ll try heating mine to fix the bubble issues and send evidence to sapphire but with the high cost and advertisement of a easy install, if mine can’t be recovered i will never purchase from them again. I am impressed I got a response from customer service within same day though based off other reviews online reporting terrible customer service
Thank you for the reviews! I ordered the Ultraglass based on your review, and how easy it looked to install. I just installed it, and was totally impressed with how easy it was.
Thank you for being so thorough with so many screen protectors! I screen shot the one I’m going to get and I’m pretty excited about. If I can make one small suggestion, it would be to change the placement of the screen on the drop tests. The probability of someone dropping it in the EXACT same spot is very slim, so if it dinged it at 2ft, how would it do at 3ft on a different part of the screen. You know? But again, thanks for the reviews because other than the Spigen one-which I’m now not going to get, none of the other protectors were in my Amazon cart.
Gave you a like and subscribe can you tell me which is the best overall: case friendly, scratch/ drop protection and best display? The price doesn’t really matter
For my 13 pro max I’ve got Spigen set, the glass is spigen GLAStR full cover and the case I use is spigen nitro force, really love that duo and I really enjoy the price/quality ratio. I guess I’ll stick w spigen for a long time.
Question about the front camera on the 32:45 UltraGlass Tempered Glass Screen Protector... Since It goes over the front camera, does it affect the quality of the photos you take with his?
I have a question, If I unbox my Iphone can I put the screen protector straight on after removing the factory thing on the screen? Or should i still wipe it down and all that?
I picked up the Tozo (21:25) a week before the 13 Pro Max arrived. First off, I was a bit baffled after ordering on Amazon, it DID appear this was for the iPhone 12 Pro Max (old box design from last year I suppose), but once you open the box, the protector IS for the 13PM, so if that's still the case still as of Oct 10, don't let that fool you. Open the box and it should be for the new phones. Yeah, I loved the complete full screen coverage also, just leaving the ear piece exposed. Price for 3 was amazing, installation was perfect and quick - which is extremely rare for me (ALWAYS one piece of dust sneaking in...LOL. I applied it on a humid day, no fans running at all, AC. so that helped with floating dust in this old house) So far, very happy with this screen protector. I am pretty good NOT dropping my iPhones - knock on wood. But I always must have a protector just in case. Great video! Thanks
This is a very good video. Well made, informational and entertaining. I came looking for the best glass screen protector, and not only did I find, but I also wanted to keep watching as he brought new screen protectors with different functions like the first matted one (my favorite), the blue light screen protector and the many more.
Wonderful video and in the future I would appreciate even more, if there would be a summary. Just an excel page dropped on premiere or what ever video editing program w/o any voice over. Just info of the scratching test (i.e. Spigen scratches at 7H, but passes drop test prior to 2,5 feet and same info on all screen protectors)
The Ferilinso does come with a guide now and like another comment mentioned it's better when the screen protector breaks easier. It absords the shock of the impact. Kind of like people in Karate breaking boards. When they don't break your hand gets messed up. Lol
For the LK Screen Protector, the stickers included some "Guide Stickers". What is their purpose? My case came with two screen protectors, no guide, but it does have the Guide Stickers, but of course, no instructions. What are they used for?
Based on the recommendation I got the ultra glass. It worked really well for half of a year before it started to get the bubbles inside. Idk what should I buy this time 🤔
I've had the Shellrus for the iPhone 12 for the past year and I noticed the oleophobic coating degraded over time. Now there are more smudges then when I originally installed it. But I guess I rather trade that then seeing scratches from barely a wipe like I did with the iCarez. Now I can rub as hard as I want without worrying about it scratching.
I have seen the full video and I bought UltraGlass Tempered Glass Screen Protector, the one that best suits my needs for my new iphone 13 pro max. Thank you very much leader,
I am looking for a full coverage screen protector with the best long lasting oleophobic coating. Matte ones are okay too so long as it is full coverage with best quality oleophobic coating. Any recommendations?
