Great video as always. I got the Torras 360 Spin case on mine. I've never had a kickstand case before but i love this one. The sides aren't slippery at all even though i thought they might be when i got it. I use a Magsafe charger in my car every day with this case. I hear the stand when i put it on or take it off the charger but it doesn't ever flex open. I do like it being magnetic and being able to mount it to a metal surface. That's a bonus when working out. Great case for the money.
I've used the Spigen Tough Armor on my Pixel 6 Pro since day one with no screen protector. It has been a fantastic case. Despite multiple drops no damage has occurred to the phone. The kickstand is a really neat feature (that doubles as a fidget toy) that has stood up to significant use with no wear & year nor damage. It's thin and light while still being durable and protective. I am still doing research for my Pixel 9 Pro XL, but it's likely I will get this set case again. Highly recommend!

I love that you compare so many. Just wish you had actually shown the drop protection for each one as you did for the initial case (Torres, if I recall correctly). I would have appreciated a chart showing each of the cases with mfg name and the results you had from drop testing, scratch resistance, comments, and which ones have kickstands. Something you might consider for future videos
the google case is smooth but I still like the feel of it. The color of the case is actually the color of your phone, plus its the only case that has the G logo on it. i want people to know it is a google phone.
@@Kenneth86666 I case I have is the Hazel color. I actually like the feel of the case, it is smooth and I haven't dropped it because of the smoothness. I work on a printing press and I have yet to stain it. It does collect oil. Especially if you have oily hands. It's nothing I can't just wipe off.
I have always used the Cuadabe Sheath on my iPhone’s but unfortunately the case isn’t made for the Pixel 9 pro XL. I just picked up the Ringke Oynx very similar thanks
Great video! Looks like I made the right choice for me with the ringke case with magsafe. Love how it's slim, offers great protection, especially for around the camera which hardly any other cases offer plus it's got good grip, looks great and understated and you can get a magsafe version. ❤

I am reading that the wireless charging for pixel phones is centered differently for each pixel phone (offcenter from G on back of phone) and the cases do not take this into affect well, even the expensive cases recommended in the video. Most start charging with magsafe but at only 3 watts and then stop charging. Would love it if you could show how well the magsafe charging works with each phone rather than just seeing that charging has started.

Is there a case that fully protects the rear camera module? something like the otofly P9PXL case, ringke onyx or latercase. I've seen almost all cases leave a large space for the camera module, but that doesn't really provide much protection. I have seen that the aluminum on the rear camera module is quite scratchable.
I tried both the SPIGEN Slim Armor CS and the SPIGEN Enzo Aramid. I returned both. I have now the SPIGEN Tough Armor. Yesterday it saved me from a 4 feet fall corner first to the bathroom tiles. Loud noise but no damage at all. I could tell where it hit the floor, and even where the dust got crushed inside (now they are tiny diamonds :-D) I returned the Enzo Aramid because it didn't give a sense of protection, the looks are not that great, looks like the buttons will pop up soon, and it's so hard to remove that annoyed me. The aluminum frame around the camera island is not a good idea. I don't want any metal so close to the phone body. The Slim Armor CS back design is ugly, and the insert was already popping out, so I gave up on it.
Now, I'm thinking about a MagSafe case now, in special because of a power bank usage. I was about to get a MOUS Limitless 5.0 Aramid, but, they have really bad reviews, and just having a carbon fiber insert is not ideal. It's not even listed as Aramid, maybe because those are different materials - Aramid is the Kevlar one. I want the Spigen one, because I know the brand. But the model is not here. It's the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Metal Ring MagFit. Torras made the huge mistake of doing the camera island to look like the Pixel 7/8... Why?
The mous case is too bulky and rigid. Feels like a brick in the hands. Torras and ringke are two great options. Torras messed up with the camera bump but you'll barely notice after the first day.

Great video and given me some thoughts on extra cases now! I've got both the official Google Pixel case and the Mous thin case, which if you don't mind cases with low grip texture are both great, I often swap them over, it's a shame the Google official case is not magsafe compatible though. I like the soft feel of the Google case, it's quality and offers good protection, whilst the thin Mous case, is more for when you want a case that's hardly there, but it is excellent and I'm not a fan of cases with raised front edges as they do get in the way of gesture navigation.
Amazing video I just ordered my Pixel 9 and am looking for a magsafe case. In Canada however my options are a little limited. Right now I am trying to decide between the Ringke Onyx and the Torras with kickstand. I didn't think I would like a translucent case but that one impressed me. Overall do you have a preference between the two.

I ended up getting the mous super thin case but it is slippery and a fingerprint magnet. Been looking at the thinborne case but it's far too expensive, here in the UK even with 15% off still works out at £60 with shipping which is way too much for a case. May go for the ringke onyx camo instead.

@vvorthabilly Nowadays, the phone is pretty solid. On my side, I understand people want protection, so there is a free tempered glass screen protector. As long as you use that combo, I would say you are 95% fine. For the remaining 5%, the Otterbox defender will also be wasted when something happens.

I have the poetic revolution for my 6a and like how they have plenty of room for a true screen protector. Because of the vid, I'm looking at either the poetic again, or the torras for the kickstand with magsafe but it artists there would be little room for a true screen protector. I was hoping the review would have the uag (pathfinder?) and the supcase unicorn beetle (which also has stand and magsafe). I had a unicorn beetle on a moto x pure. Can anyone else chime in on either of those 2? Also, I'm looking for it for the pro xl)
I had the CASEOLOGY Parallax for my Pixel 7 (traded in for my current Pixel 9 Pro XL), and I really liked, but the new one is just the same design. In other hand, I also had the CASEOLOGY Athlex for my Pixel 7, and the color combination was so great, black and neon green... I loved that case, until one day I dry to dry it out with a hot air gun, well... The grip was amazing. Again, the new CASEOLOGY Athlex for the Pixel 9 Pro XL is just so ugly... if they had used the same design, colors, I would have bought it. The CASEOLOGY Nano pop problem for me is the lack of a great black/bright color. Blue/yellow is not for me. Black/gray, neither. If they had black/yellow or black/green, I would be sold.
Damn I got a D brand grip and love it! But as much as I use my phone at work I might have to get an old school otter box defender so I have a clip .. looks foolish but great at work!

Oh my God, I wish someone would start a cutest phone cases channel. I have about 70-80 cases between an s23 ultra and a 13 pro max, mostly Casetify but need to see what they look like on the Pixel before buying one.
@@eli0151 Yes definitely! I always have a Tough case on, dropped my phone a few times on hard ground and they haven't cracked and my phone has been fine. They're probably not on the scale of the Casetify bounce cases but they're still very good if you don't want bulk.
I think the Peak Design cases are worth mentioning. Great quality and the mounting system is awesome for people that ride bikes. Thanks for the effort!

@@eli0151 Yes definitely! I always have a Tough case on, dropped my phone a few times on hard ground and they haven't cracked and my phone has been fine. They're probably not on the scale of the Casetify bounce cases but they're still very good if you don't want bulk.
