I'm curious to hear some of your thoughts on the Vision Pro! I thinks it's super dystopian....but definitely share some of your thoughts below :)

To me it's a solution in search of a problem. It's a concept to sell rather than an actual meaningful change in your quality of life.

This product will allow Apple to "read" and become intimately familiar with my facial expressions. What delights me. What repels me. What bores me out of my mind. Not sure I need an inanimate object telling Apple (and the world?) so much stuff about me.
Then again...my life could bore Apple's AIs into self-destruction...

A: Its an apple product, so pass.
B: It looks nice, so I will wait for other players on the market to make their move.
C: Will buy when it shrink in size.. a lot. At least when it comes to the face visor part, I don't mind having extras somewhere in my clothes.

We'll get one when they have the 5th or 10th version.

I would say your conclusion is correct. This is a first gen product, it will get better with software updates and of course with the next version.
As far as yubikeys/passkeys, at this point it is a niche need in a niche product. Although this niche product that everyone was till now say that it has no market, suddenly it has more hype than it expected.

I know this is the first version, and eventually they’ll get as small as contact lenses, but what about the long term impact on ones eyes, and brain?
I’ll sit back, click like, and let y’all experiment with them😅 🙏

I'm not planning on ordering one of these for a *long* time. (if ever, who knows) This video is aimed at people who *are* purchasing them and what to expect beforehand. I'd be pretty pissed if I spent thousands of dollars on something and realized I couldn't even log in to my accounts on it.

@@techlore they could've at least implemented NFC in that thing. There doesn't need to be a port, just NFC would be enough. But they didn't see a usecase for it I guess

02:19 *🔑 Lack of native support for security keys on Apple Vision Pro limits user options for enhanced account security, affecting users who rely on them for authentication.*
04:40 *🚫 Apple Vision Pro lacks a lockdown mode, a feature available on other Apple devices, potentially compromising security for users who prioritize device security.*

Best security is to not use it in the first place

Security is the least of the vision pros problems, problem number 1 is its a pair Un-reality face mufflers, ie is suffers from the same problem All VR headsets suffer from, its Isolating, uncomfortable and impractical, Vision pro is a bunch of ridiculously over engineered solutions to unsolvable problems.

Apple at least in my mind is synonymous with "Security Issue"

You cited zero security "issues" ... only convenience issues...
The only "security" issue is the end-user ... using a product incompatible with their security model...
Also issue #1 is basically the same as issue #2 and the title of this video is questionable as clickbait...
The minuscule amount of people that will be affected by this "issue" is shown by the fact that Apple released this product without such support...
Those with such "security" needs as the "lockdown mode" should absolutely *not* be playing around with a recently released product/software, basic security 101...
