Some of the locomotives you presented here are L45H built by 23 August Bucharest WorkShops in Romania! Awesome video, thanks for sharing!!! My father repaired some of this locomotives when they were active in Romania!
I like this film very much, thanks for posting. You did not forget the environment which fits perfect to the scenes. It is a pity that this line is closed now.
Spent a day there a few years back and did 7 return trips on the steam loco, driving or firing, great fun. I knew they sometimes carried the full sized wagons on the narrow gauge bogies but had never seen them in action..
It is very sad that this line has closed. I have driven on it several times including one full day on every scheduled journey, and 2 not scheduled!!, as part of my many Wolsztyn Experience visits. I will miss it.
@npradocp During 40 visits I found the freight train for eight times standing off the track. This train (please have a look to the colour pictures) jumped out for three times on a very short distance. The center of gravity was very high. Only polish railwayman could do this job - with her typical coolheaded kind of humor.
I live less then 100 meters from this railway. Now when the local government is owner of this narrow gauge, everything have changed for worse. There is no cargo trains, because they destroyed track to the loading station (they built a new road...), there is no timetable trains, only sometimes trains only for tourists, there is no line to Wielichowo (it is closed for 3 years). Trains can't get to the station in St. Bojanowo, because they destroyed tracks on the rail crossing.
Taking pictures and movies about narrow gauge lines in poland since 1973, this job has come to an end. My new HD-Camera would never see, what my old ROLLEI and NIZO have seen. The best equiment for a poor rest...
@@fairportrails107 Wolfgang passed away in march 2015. I met him once in the nineties in Wolsztyn / Poland. We had a good time taking photos and enjoying polish restaurants and beer. ;)
Erst einmal vielen Dank das muß erhalten bleiben. Die Bahn ist modern und schick. Triebwagen Dieselloks und schöneDampfloks. Die Entwickler waren gut, ich weiß die Diesel Loks sind aus Romaenieen.
Eventuelle Ähnlichkeiten zu "Eisenbahnromantik" sind nicht beabsichtigt. So habe ich zwar wenig Zuschauer-dafür aber die Besseren! Funklover24 hat es erkannt, Dank und Grüße!
Man ist genug entgleist, mein dokumentierter Rekord lag bei 3 Entgleisungen auf knapp 2 Km. Die Fahrzeit- Stillstands- und Aufgleiszeit betrug 2 Tage. Das Finale waren dann die umbekippten Düngemittel-Wagen, siehe meinen PKP-Buch Abdruck. Dabei bekam die Strecke noch schweres Schienenprofil! doch einfach in den Dreck gelegt (...was ist Schotter?) verbogen die schweren Fahrzeuge erneut die neue Trasse. Bei dem am Rand stehenden Holz-Pick-Up haben wir seinerzeit Tränen gelacht...

Too bad, too bad... In Romania there are plenty of lines with narrow gauges! I will post here one of my videos to prove that. :)
