That was an awesome trek through the wilderness, to catch fish sticks..😂😅 Personally, i love goat, and usually cook it in broth. Like you said, it makes things easier, it simmers all day, and soup is always a great warmer. Love what ya'll are doing 😊
Always enjoy the content never disappointed hope you and the family had a Merry Christmas have a goodnight and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts
I haven't seen your channel in many many many years wow glad to see your still around I remember the first time yall killed and cooked the groundhog very cool videos
Merry Christmas brother, I wish you and your family good health and prosperity, long life to you, and to post many more great videos in the coming years
So when you stay on the ice in a hot tent I made a five foot stainless steel pipe with a 90 degree turn on the end then drilled a hole not threw the ice you have to leave some then chisel groves in the ice to put the pipe in and then set the stove on top to let the water out you do have to cut like six paths to the pipe and drill tiny holes in the pipe and it does work very good it helps keep you from shoveling water out all the time
How did you stop the tent from freezing on the ice? Did you put snow on the ice and the sides of the tent up on it or did you put evergreens on the ice and the sides of the tent on them, Thank you
What you've just described in the thumbnail sounds extreme even for a survivalist. But these hard tests of the self just make you stronger. Or give you pneumonia like George Washington.
It's very unusual to find any place flat, or clear to pitch a tent anywhere even remotely close to the lake, and the lake is where the food is, and where we want to spend most of our time fishing.
@TheWoodedBeardsman sir. I'm an avid ice fisherman I agree with your statement but previous experiences have taught me to not shovel the snow. Just trying to help. I've never had to bail out a house like i seen you guys do.
Being so far out. During your trips do you ever encounter wolves or bears? I know it’s winter so bears are probably hibernating. I know Canada has far stricter gun laws but as an American I would never go out without a rifle.
@TheWoodedBeardsman. I don't mind watching your rerun videos whatsoever. I love your videos!!!😊.if there's any way for you to find out how many watch hours I have you and your Channel. I think it would blow your mind. I've definitely seen every single video. I think on and off have been subscribed to you for like 4 or 5 years.😅 I've seen some of your videos 8-9 times. I'm definitely going to buy some weed seasoning, I can't wait to try it.

I just watched the intro and have to see this tonight when I have a few more minutes!!!! I remember when you went back there way back. Can’t wait
Really good video. Falling through the ice is very serious. Happened to me when I was 10 years old. I made it home and learned to be more aware.
I love seeing these reshares. Always worth another watch when it comes to challenges
I'm glad everyone is safe
Rule of thumb chimney should be 6 to 8 inches above the tent peek also helps by slowing embers down from roof materials.
Chris, I'm glad that you were okay. Great video! I was getting cold just watching you shiver. Especially when the wind started blowing ❤❤
FULL STOP this is a really good one dude
Awesome! Love the longer videos. Thank you. Full stop.
Looks like tour videos are doing alot better again in the algorithm
Love it! Timeless video!

Any other trout fisherman cringing at those tiny brookies they kept? 😂
29:59 SQUIRELL! !!!! Runs off barking and chasing nothing...
I find putting spruce bows or any evergreen bows in a hole then covering with loose snow keeps them holes from freezing! Love the old vid !!!
I’m gonna shave this dudes beard if i dnt get new content soon😂
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY United States of America and thank you for sharing your adventures

When make stew brown the meat first with oil then the vegetables then water
It would be funny if we caught one right away
Love and support you guys but when are you both gonna go on the show "Alone"? I'd really like to see your skills in a real situation.
How did you stop the tent from freezing on the ice? Did you put snow on the ice and the sides of the tent up on it or did you put evergreens on the ice and the sides of the tent on them, Thank you
If you keep it warm enough on the inside, and don't let it freeze. Or you'd have to move it every day or so, as you melt the top layer of ice.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman Thank you You can't beat a snow trekker tent
I guess there is always a bright side..too cold for bugs to bite!
What you've just described in the thumbnail sounds extreme even for a survivalist. But these hard tests of the self just make you stronger. Or give you pneumonia like George Washington.
U can put snow over the fishing holes or the tree bowls. An it won't freeze the hole figured ud might know that
💜👌
602nd like for the show.
happy holidays mr beard,
Is raw slog good? Never had it, dont even think ive had it cooked.
do u think u and jeremy are going back to pudel lake this year? .. i whis i could join you out there ! i loved this seris.
I think it would be more interesting to explore a new place tbh.
19:00 look another minnow lol
Is there a reason why you pitched your tent on the ice, would it not have been better setting the tent up on banks of the lake.
It's very unusual to find any place flat, or clear to pitch a tent anywhere even remotely close to the lake, and the lake is where the food is, and where we want to spend most of our time fishing.
Instead of shoveling the snow, pack it down. It'll last a bit longer. Slush is better then water... right?
Slush turns to water faster than ice.
@TheWoodedBeardsman sir. I'm an avid ice fisherman I agree with your statement but previous experiences have taught me to not shovel the snow. Just trying to help. I've never had to bail out a house like i seen you guys do.
That's why I hate NJ, I just start to get used to the extreme cold/heat then it changes....
Just got hit with 2 storms here in new-brunswick in a week with a total of 40 cm or so, gonna find myself some snowshoes pretty soon 😅
You must be up north Saint John here got about 20 cm
@FrankSmith-kg3dh moncton region, the first storm we got like 25 and then christmas eve another 15 or so
@@catherine.g_16 you guys always get hit alot harder then us
Yep this video is like a year or 2 old
BUILDING YOURSELF A CAN OF SARDINES TO EAT?
No, maybe to you or other peoples but it’d be nice to be out there than behind a TV
Been watching you for awhile and love the channel. What is going on with your gun legislation? Pretty fd up. Keep up the fight Canucks.
Being so far out. During your trips do you ever encounter wolves or bears? I know it’s winter so bears are probably hibernating. I know Canada has far stricter gun laws but as an American I would never go out without a rifle.
I have never seen a wolf. We come across the odd bear, but they run away as fast as they appear.
30 seconds in, already a good video.
Makes alot less work
why was bro spiting on the line?
Bro never tags Jeremys channel in the description its sad
I swear I've seen this video before
I cut it back from 2.5 hrs to 45 mins.
Happy Holidays everyone!!!
Chris is this new?
That’s what I’m trying to figure out every video
Not new I guess, dude just don't know what to do with this channel anymore...;/
I quess it is new as the title doesn’t say “supercut”. Not 100% sure though…
It's a re-upload from years ago
Its from 6 years ago, the exact same video just popped out when i was scrolling through youtube
A return to the old campsite
