@@MattGuynn Just did my first predator tournament and used the ThermNight TNC225R for 3 hard days. Videos coming soon. Love my Zulus too. Congratulations! ❤️
@@jacobaddotta They are close out to 300 yards but in my opinion the Zulus holds the edge. I can see bullet holes at 100 yards with both during the day.
@@jacobaddotta I like using the Zulus on huge open 1000 yard fields. I like the ThermNight on tighter cluttered fields where the thermal side gets me on target quicker and easier. I don't feel inadequate with either. If that makes sense.
@@schylergoodlett2792 thank you for the info, I have a M4 ordered and I can’t figure out which scope I want to go with. I definitely like the screen resolution better on the Zulus and I feel like durning the day I won’t like the DNT but I am in a wooded area and I want to go coyote hunting at night so I think the thermal might be the one I go with. Is the thermal a game changer at night with heavy foliage or can you get by the Zulus?
Just got my thermnight 2 days ago and I love it. Tinkered with the settings almost all day yesterday, went and got it zeroed today. Just curious what are some of the settings you use to enhance the picture
The thermal side is going to be influenced most by weather and distance. Humid conditions and dew point converging on ambient temperature is when thermal looks it's worst. I use thermal on the 225 as a tool to find the target and shoot from NV.
How is the quality of the mount? Is it capable of returning to zero when it is removed from the rifle and then remounted in the same position? It makes sense to use this on multiple firearms... Does anyone have any experience with the included mount in that scenario
@@deadcenterarts29 It's just a standard mount. I've never checked its return to zero. Someone mentioned some other mounts that offered quick disconnect and return to zero capabilities that fit the same hole pattern but can't remember the brand. Will see if I can find that info.
Oh my goodness!! Just watched my first coyote thru my lrf Zulus 😊😊 im stoked

@@301NightCrew how does the image seem like it compares to the Zulus?

I'm wondering if the thermnight can withstand cold Manitoba winters like -15 to - 25

@@301NightCrew Did you ever find out which mounts were compatible. I would love to know.
